  1. I'm not LDS but if you despise swearing how do you play FPS games online? Do you mute everyone? Because a lot of people have mics and basically all they do is cuss, talk about smoking weed, or make racist remarks. I think it comes down to your own conscience, how important gaming is to you (is it part of how you socialize for example), and if there are other just as good alternatives to spend your time on. Good luck.
  2. Since everyone is mentioning Star Trek what is everyone's favorite shows?
  3. I've been to a local Mormon service once and also went to Salt Lake City and visited the temple square. Maybe someday I'll go to another service. I wouldn't be opposed to it.
  4. I'm trying to eat a lot less and make what I do eat be something healthier. My family has helped by doing things like making turkey burgers instead of hamburgers (a lot less fat and still tasty). Also I try to drink a ton of liquids. It's going good so far and this time I'm not quitting.
  5. Romans 12:5 "so in Christ we who are many form one body..." It takes both people to make a relationship or a family work. So they're equally important. Although sometimes one is having a hard time and the other might have to pull some of their weight but that could go either way (man or woman).
  6. Just can't beat the original cast.
  7. I'm the type of person who likes to have a lot of free time/alone time. A big part of that is that I'm an only child so I got used to occupying myself. Even with friends I rarely hangout with them for more than a day. That is one reason why I'm single. Another is I want to be more set in my life (have a good job, know what my plans for the future are, etc.) before trying to commit to someone.
  8. I've just recently started watching Star Trek TOS but it's great. I like how varied the stories are. Like the episode where a seemingly powerful full grown man is revealed to be the relatively young child of two super-beings who let him create his own planet or when Kirk fights Gorn. Thank you people for welcoming me. =]
  9. My little experience with Mormons makes me think they're very sincere about their faith and tend to be nice people. I respect that a lot although I myself am an agnostic. I feel like I more or less understand the belief system since I was non-LDS Christian for a while and it's just that with further revelation. Of course a few small changes can create a huge effect depending on who you ask. Anyways... Mormons are cool by me. :) Besides that I'm just a 19 year old guy doing college to get my AA and have no plans after that. Well besides maybe writing a book someday.
