A lot of LDS folk are confused thinking that there is only one coming and some here seem to be stuck believing that I am prophesying that something in the OP pertains to His final coming when I am talking the season we are currently in. There are many things that must happen before His final coming...and some of those the scriptures and prophets tell us will be His Signs and Wonders including.Signs in the Heavens. The odds obviously are good that there will be another eclipse...But if one were to fall on one of His Holy Days given to us by Him in Leviticus...that could raise a flag that it could be something from Him to watch. But then to have six lunar eclipses in a row associated with Passover in the Spring and then Tabernacles in the fall...with four solar eclipses in a row exactly on the beginning of the last four of these seasons...that should cause people to wonder I would think...not ridicule. Is it so hard to believe in divine intelligence? LDS members are encouraged to store foods that they normally eat, three months worth or more. Many of us are fortunate enough to be able to buy a lot of fruits and vegetables fresh year-round, but buying some in cans in case of calamities is a wise choice as fresh foods obviously don't keep long. I apologize to any that seriously want to know the meaning of these things as I do hear your frustration my friends, but seriously, if there is any, it is something you need to seek out for yourself and pray about. I could list what still has to happen in the future prophetically speaking, but that is all in the scriptures for anyone to learn for themselves. I would be happy to discuss any questions privately, but I don't promise to have any answers. I think we will know a lot more about any meanings...in hindsight.

You are the one saying that His signs have to be foretold first to prophets and then specifically watched for to mean anything. I disagree, when things are associated with His dates and His celestial bodies in ways that are far, far, far beyond "coincidence" they are His works and so can be significant for no other reason. But, If you want to go to prophetic scripture, you yourself quote the scriptures that say before the tribulations the sun will be darkened (solar eclipses?) and the moon turned to blood (total lunar eclipses? which are called blood moons?)...it is a possible fulfillment of prophecy, but then I didn't post that you did. Also, there are scriptures that say before He comes again the priests will be making sacrifices to Him, so the fact that they began to do that this year after millennia is interesting and so I shared that in case anyone else might find that interesting also. There were multiple signs in the heavens around the years that Jesus was born, most of them were not the "great sign", but there were so many in fact that people that study these things disagree on what the actual sign was and what season it happened in as they again tended to happen around Passover (Spring Feasts) and Tabernacles (Fall Feasts). We are seeing similar signs in the heavens during our time. For instance around the time of his first coming Jupiter (the King planet) went into retrograde at Regulus (the king star of the Leo constellation which represents the Jews) and passed it three times and so some believe this was the sign that brought the wise men (men who studied astronomy and prophecy...I bet plenty of folks probably said they were nuts to take their treasures based on something they imagined happening in the skies) to Israel because of prior prophecy that the Messiah would be born there. During the fall feast time I noticed that there were three conjunctions between Jupiter and Venus and so I wondered where that happened in the sky and found that it was again where Regulus and the Leo constellation was. Many might say that was just meaningless coincidence, but to those people that watch such things, they would find that very interesting and perhaps significant as it is a very rare thing yet very similar to what happened around the time of His first coming. I apologize to those that want my opinion of the meaning of the OP but like so many have said here, I am not a prophet. If I put my own interpretation on things I would have been chewed up into teeny tiny pieces and spit out by now, and it certainly would only be my best guess opinion. [Just saying we are in the "latter-days" and that there are things that are God things happening now...even though I have been clear to say that I don't believe that His coming in glory is anywhere close to imminent...has me feeling pretty tattered.] So I have given sources for articles that far more learned men with pertinent degrees behind their names have posted, for those that find these things interesting...they can search any meaning out for themselves there. For those that don't believe such things could happen in our day because He doesn't do the things He did back in olden days and if He did do something our prophets would have told us beforehand, well you all can continue on as you have been doing in this thread telling me your personal beliefs about why these things are ridiculous...meaningless...regardless of it being beyond coincidence. Seriously, there are many fascinating happenings in the skies for those with open minds and eyes to see...related to these three celestial bodies that represent Him as well as other fulfillment of scriptures. The pattern of heavenly events that similarly could only be a God thing that started the day of the tornado in SLC and repeats five times over decades is amazing, the heavenly signs pertaining to the pyramids next year which could only happen once since creation, and then the Revelation 12 sign perhaps being fulfilled next year...all within days of the Feast of Trumpets...just fascinating to "watchers" like me. Sorry I don't know what they "mean" either, just that they will soon be happening.I wish there were more folks here that were open to such things being a God thing as these things are super, super cool! That is what I posted about in the OP and then everyone got lost in the whole number 12 thing which was the least of the amazing things which I was sharing today. These are real signs in the heavens directly related to God's real Feast Days. God made these things for His purposes. I'm still scratching my head as to the level of contention and vitriol on this thread over a perhaps symbolic number (all further examples came from research on the subject and were not made up.) I think these things shared today must be things that the adversary does not want people to learn about or understand. I don't think I've been prophesying like Noah though other's have been implying that for me. He also tells us he will use these things in the future for His purposes, (i.e. Jesus fulfilled the first 4 of His 7 Feast Days with his death and resurrection, created His Church)...whether there are any further fulfilments related to the last three Feast Days...well, you will have to study that out in your own mind and then take that up with Him.

12:00 Actually God uses the number 12 quite a bit in relation to things being whole or complete, the priesthood . Midnight might represent the darkest time or a turning point, etc. Twelve can be found in 187 places in the bible and Revelation has 22 occurrences of the number and then then there is the BofM and D&C, etc. Some examples of it's use: midnight, 12 sons, 12 princes, 12 stars, 12 unleavend cakes in the temple, 12 disciples, 12 apostles, 12 thousand from each tribe, the New Jerusalem has 12 gates one for each of the 12 tribes. The walls are 144 cubits high (12 multiplied by itself...with the city itself being 12,000 furlongs square) etc. I do believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ and am "watching with all perseverence." Such an exact number as 12:00 is not unknown of as it happens once a day (depending on which clock you are using,) but the chances of this eclipse ending exactly at that time would be extremely rare, so worth mentioning. Thanks! I've been watching them, pretty cool! I want to see the total solar eclipse where the path of totality will go across the entire United States next year in a place where the sky will actually darken.

We are in the "latter-days"...and I don't see how, as that is our title, you would feel like you have to "defend" that or convince others that you aren't one of those people that believe "like that." More importantly such discussions would be a great time to testify what you do believe, i.e. you could share the Articles of Faith 7-10 which talks about revelation, that God reveals things through His scriptures, that Jesus will someday reign personally upon the earth, and that we have a God given right to not agree with everyone else about everything. If your friends are anti-religion you have a lot of work to do to show them that there was intelligent design in creation. But when you see signs in the heavens like these, where year upon year the odds of them being mere coincidence become ever more infinitesimal it should help your discussions...not hurt them. You can add to that the chances of similar signs happening on Passover/Tabernacles associated with lunar eclipses two years in a row both around when Israel became a nation and then again when Jerusalem was reunited...and if they are scientifically minded rather than close minded they should at least wonder if it is possible that God (or at least an amazing intelligence) was in these things. But seriously, you can't stop truly close minded people from ridiculing and mocking...

Last of the Tetrad of Solar Eclipses on Jewish New Years Tonight!!! That means that the Feast of Trumpets is the next day or the 4th Jewish New Year with a solar eclipse. Also..Using this calendar the Jubilee would have been in effect for a whole year on the Day of Atonement or 9/11 of 2016. The Sextet of Lunar Eclipses or the sixth lunar eclipse on Passover or Tabernacles in a row will happen this month as well, September 16-17.

I wouldn't worry too much gator...the likelihood of any friend mentioning this to you LDS or otherwise is remote. So few people are truly interested in these things that I think you can literally hear them snoring. But I think it is something with significance (whatever that is) and I believe there is at least one other (He's an amazing being who created them) out there in the great expanse that does as well. So my eyes are wide open and you can't quell my excitement that the fourth of the tetrad of solar eclipses is TONIGHT! .

What prophecies? The solar eclipse is happening tonight! According to that Sanhedrin council it marks the Elul 29/Feast of Trumpets time or the fourth Solar eclipse on a Hebrew New Year in a row. The next lunar eclipse will be on Tabernacles, the sixth lunar eclipse on Passover/Tabernacles that started in the spring of 2014. There is no prophecy attached to these signs in the heavens that I know of, but I believe that they most certainly testify of Him...as I believe He created them. What they might mean is anyone's guess as He hasn't told us. That is something to pray about.

Pam - I agree with you as I do not believe the brethren know the specific week or day, but we all know the season because we are in it. I believe that someday perhaps in the distant future they may know as it says in the scriptures... Amos 3:7 7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Also, my understanding is that many prophets throughout the ages have received visions of the creation to the end of the world. I know that previous prophets and apostles have seen the "latter-days" because they have talked so much about them in the scriptures, particularly John the Revelator. Whether any others such as previous or current prophets or apostles have also received this vision is something we would not know. As we are talking about the latter-days we know that Jesus will come to the New Jerusalem, He will come to save the Jews in the old Jerusalem, then in a different "coming" He will come in glory. When talking about His coming in Glory, that timing may be something that only Heavenly Father still knows, or not.

Epoch Conjunction of Jupiter and Venus - August 27, 2016 August 27, 2016 I watch Jupiter (the king planet), Venus (protector of the Jews) and Regulus (the King star of the Leo constellation which constellation represents the house of Judah) as so many signs in the heavens happened during His first coming related to these three celestiabl bodies and similar signs are happening again now related to His second coming. So, this Saturday is the nearest of the five conjunctions of Jupiter and Venus (2014-2017), which will be seen in the western sky just after sunset. (A similar retrograde group of conjunctions with Jupiter and Regulus happened with his first coming, but this time Venus has been dancing around Regulus and Jupiter.) 360 days from today is the rare total solar eclipse across the whole USA on August 21, 2017. If you are lucky enough to be in the shadow (like in Idaho or Missouri/Illinois) of this eclipse the sky will actually darken when it happens. This will begin the 40 days which is the Jewish Season of Repentance in 2017. And starts a repeating sign in the heavens that began with the tornado in SLC in 1999 and will happen five times which I call the TAVs. (Currently we are in the 2016 Season of Repentance leading up to 9/11 or the Day of Atonement 2016...end of this Jubilee year) ] If you are familiar with all the fours associated with the Passover 2015 lunar eclipse or have seen my free presentation in various recent conferences you will know why this is fascinating to me :)... 400 days from today is the Day of Atonement 2017. 444 days from now is the next Jupiter and Venus conjunction on November 13, 2017. This will be a very close conjunction of Jupiter and Venus, only 4 arc minutes (0.066 degrees...makes one wonder if the next number is 6 too ) apart! Some call this very rare conjunction an appulse which occurs when the separation between two bodies is at an absolute minimum! (Over the next 100 years, Venus and Jupiter come to within 20 arc minutes or less only 26 times...the next conjunction so close won't be until November 22, 2065 when Venus will appear to cross over in front of Jupiter) Of course many signs in the heavens point to the fall feasts of 2017, particularly the Feast of Trumpets. So "watching" is going to be really interesting this next year, hope y'all join me in watching!
