  1. There are three main signs that are not to be missed this year, 2017, and would be sad for people not to know about. The first is the total eclipse in August, the conjunction that the pyramids point to and then the Revelation 12 Sign in the heaven. I would encourage you to learn more of these because they all testify of Jesus Christ and are AWESOME!
  2. It is finally done my friends and was done as a gift to Him. This information pertains most to 2017 and pray that it will go to those where this knowledge will be a blessing in their lives. Some dear friends have spent many hours putting it together and truthfully I have not watched it yet, but I was there when it was made . Please excuse my facial expressions, my stammering/stuttering, repetitive vocal sounds, the way I look, my probable mistakes between saying solar, lunar, etc...I was nervous doing this and some of these traits are just me. And please understand that this is a compilation of about 2/3rds of my slides and that I left many things out as there is so much that is or could be happening in the heavens, and things which have happened in and around the feast days, etc. The information comes from many sources but mostly from my own research, from Daniel (an Evangelical Christian), Paul (a Messianic Jew), Marc (a Messianic Jew) and John Pratt (LDS), most of their sites are found on the slides. Those with some differing beliefs have different interpretations of what these things mean, we have some additional puzzle pieces through additional scripture and revelation. Some friends have said that there is too much information to take in all at once and that is why I thought a video would be better than a podcast as one can take it in in small bites and learn as you go. I would suggest watching also Marc Biltz' videos on the meaning of the Feast Days and Jonathan Cahn's work on Shemitahs which links you can find on youtube. Okay friends...here it is...please treat it with kindness as it is a life's work and I'm sure there are some mistakes here and there. Please don't tell people that it means something specific will happen on these days as I don't know, except for the eclipses and conjunctions, that something will. I believe it is telling us of the importance of this dispensation and these things certainly testify of our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ and this time which presages his Second Coming. People get tired of watching for His imminent return and when they think such things like something is imminent they can get too tired just when it is most important to watch! As you will see in the last signs shared if these things do mean something specifically it will most likely still be many years before His coming in actual glory which most people mistake as His only "coming" when we know that there have been and will be more of His comings throughout this dispensation before His final coming. These things could be years in advance of any actual events. Of course it is wise to be prepared as instructed by the First Presidency in their publication entitled "All Is Safely Gathered In" [2007] just in case! that can be found on-line or on providentliving.org. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HG0K5-NIzGs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  3. I read this article today and thought this was a particularly good reason to pray..."A prayer should not be a wish list of things we want from Heavenly Father. It should be the other way around; prayer should be about finding out what Heavenly Father wants for us. This is because Heavenly Father knows all things, including what is best for us. So we should seek to see through His eternal perspective, and ask for His plan and will to be done, not our often misguided or shortsighted plan. 4. President Benson talks of the difficulties yet to be experienced...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhIQZGxeY6E "But to an otherwise gloomy picture there is a bright side—the coming of our Lord in all His glory. His coming will be both glorious and terrible, depending on the spiritual condition of those who remain. One appearance will be to the righteous Saints who have gathered to the New Jerusalem here in America. In this place of refuge they will be safe from the wrath of the Lord which will be poured out without measure on all nations. Modern revelation provides this description: “And the glory of the Lord shall be there, and the terror of the Lord also shall be there, insomuch that the wicked will not come unto it, and it shall be called Zion."
  5. The tenth article of faith states: “We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.” .
  6. In the Book of Mormon they sometimes were given where and how to fight their enemies as well. "God promised Abraham and his descendants that in the latter days their posterity would...be gathered to places of safety. The Father commanded the Savior to teach these promises to the Nephites." (3 Nephi 20-22 Bof M SG 122-123) I think the big thing though is the Abrahamic promises of protection for the righteous. I was reading recently in a student manual (quote above) that being gathered to places of safety is also an Abrahamic promise. We are told that someday the Saints will be gathered to the New Jerusalem for safety, how much of North America the New Jerusalem might include before the tribulations I don't know, but my guess would be probably not the valleys/cities (my neighbors both LDS and not have already told me that if things get bad they are coming to my house and will beg, borrow or steal what they need...and I have a LOT of neighbors and we know that the brethren have said that very few LDShave followed the commandment to be prepared for the prophesied calamities/tribulations). But for at least right now we know that we are to be building Zion in our stakes where ever that is. So IF that ever changes from our existing stakes to going somewhere else...that could be God keeping His promises to the Fathers and we should go (make sure you have what is needed to survive) if we want to be with the brethren in Zion of the very Last Days.

    3 Month supply

Iggy that post was incredible thanks! I am a new empty nester and so it was a good thing to see how others store for smaller meals. Have you guys seen the youtube videos on depression meals? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OPQqH3YlHA She talks about how they ate potatoes with pasta, but it was a great way to stretch meals.
  8. Other people have been hearing weird sounds elsewhere as well...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zcVFV3y5S0 For example at 1:56 on this video, stop by 4:00 (bad language alert for Netherlands video)
  9. Same thing, different view...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JN3r4wTr_ZY
  10. So there was a pretty weird thing that happened over Jerusalem as the trumpets were being blown the evening of October 1st...sounds louder than the trumpets should be...and the clouds... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EthgkOKPZOc
  11. Good point LOL
  12. Some of the highlights that stood out to me... "we live in “perilous times.” The conditions of our day should not be a surprise to us. They have been foretold for millennia as a warning and admonition so that we can be prepared. The 8th chapter of Mormon gives a disconcertingly accurate description of the conditions of our day." [Some of the very elect will be deceived.] [We need to be prepared for the storms that lie ahead.] "We need women who can detect deception in all of its forms." "We need women who know how to access the power that God makes available to covenant keepers." "All women need to see themselves as essential participants in the work of the priesthood." "...the Lord has blessed us, as women who live in these perilous times, with all of the power, gifts, and strength that are needed in order to prepare the world for the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ." 13. I am not into astrology or superstition or hopefully lunacy (so many names thrown out on this thread already) so I don't believe the stars or moon are the cause or effect of anything. I see patterns but do not believe that all these things are God created or driven. For whatever reason man decides to do things, often very significant things, around these times. As it is a pattern I have observed for a while now it is something I "watch." Then there are the signs in the heavens that I believe are totally God made, and I think He is capable of planning such things a millennia or two...or more...in advance. For instance, whatever was the sign in the Americas that created darkness for three days, whatever the "star" was pronouncing Christ's birth in the Old World, and whatever the three hours of darkness at His death...those were signs that were put into place long before by God, just as, I believe, were the tetrad and sextet of eclipses over the last three years, the total solar eclipses three years in a row on the same date of the Hebrew calendar the 1st of Av in 2008, 2009, 2010, etc. etc. etc. The last eclipse of the sextet I believe is now just minutes over. We are still here, that's good :). What symbolic purpose these things have or don't have, we may not know for sure until we get to the other side. I have done my best to draw attention to them just in case they are significant, for posterity. If there is any meaning, I assume we will only know in hindsight. .
  14. See previous Signs in the Times Thread for the actual calendar and other significant dates, how they were derived and to continue the debate (if that is what you want)...as this is not a redo of that, just a celebration which is what this Feast is All About!
  15. Last of the Sextet of Lunar Eclipses on God's Holy Days of 2014-2015-2016 also the Second Year in a Row the "Harvest Moon" is Ecllpsed Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot is the feast of ingathering, where they are commanded to live in tents, where the remnant is gathered...etc. Sukkot with the lunar eclipse is today! Using the calendar as commanded in the bible. Sukkot is a Feast that lasts 8 days in Israel and 9 in the diaspora (originally seven days in the bible). " If the theme of Rosh Hashana is repentance, and the theme of Yom Kippur is redemption, then most naturally the theme of Sukkot is rejoicing in God's forgiveness. The gathering of the year's final harvest was a confirmation of God's blessing...Salvation and obedience to God always leads to joy" (Mitch and Zhava Glaser, The Fall Feasts of Israel, p.162). Prophetically Sukkot celebrates the coming of the Messiah to rule and reign on the Earth. In biblical times this final of the seven feasts was simply known as "The Feast." It was the time when many of the foreign believers also returned to Jerusalem to celebrate as well. At the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot, the House of Israel was commanded to gather various branches (Leviticus 23:40) (which were then traditionally used for a wave offering), they were to live in a tent (leviticus 23:42), and they were commanded to rejoice (leviticus 23:40 and Deuteronomy 16:13-14). The harvest moon is the new moon closest to the equinox. The spring and fall equinoxes have often been important in history and so it is always something that I watch for, e.g. last year the pope came to the US related to world peace, previously the president visited Israel for the first time during the spring equinox with the same theme, etc. In the diaspora (not in Israel which would end on their Sabbath-Saturday) this feast will be celebrated (using this biblical calendar) until Sunday, the 25th of September. Another interesting thing is the 7 thing...on Elul 29 of 2001 the Dow went down 7 percent, in 2008 it went down 777 points. This year, that just started on the biblical calendar, it is the Hebrew calendar year 5777. So I "watch" for sevens..."Tabernacles is indeed the last of the appointed feasts and concludes the festive calendar. As such, it anticipates the culmination of God’s purpose for Israel, the final fulfillment of God’s promises for and through that nation. To emphasize perfection and completion, it occurs in the seventh month, lasts for seven days and the number of its sacrifices are divisible by seven. “Whereas the sacred number seven appeared at the Feast of Unleavened Bread only in the number of its days, and at Pentecost in the period [which must transpire before] its observance (7 x 7 days after Passover), the Feast of Tabernacles lasted seven days, took place when the seventh month was at its full height, and had the number seven impressed on its characteristic sacrifices.” (Edersheim, Temple, p. 219.)
  16. Another interesting thing about today is that it is the second harvest moon in a row that will be eclipsed. I bet that doesn't happen very often...seriously. The harvest moon is the new moon closest to the fall equinox. The spring and fall equinoxes (and Feast times) have often been important in history and so it is always something that I watch for, e.g. last year the pope came to the US related to world peace, previously the President visited Israel for the first time during the spring equinox with the same theme, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
  17. Sukkot with the lunar eclipse is today! Using the calendar as commanded in the bible. It is a Feast that lasts 8 days in Israel and 9 in the diaspora so it would end for those in the US on Sunday, September 25th, 2016. "If the theme of Rosh Hashana is repentance, and the theme of Yom Kippur is redemption, then most naturally the theme of Sukkot is rejoicing in God's forgiveness. The gathering of the year's final harvest was a confirmation of God's blessing...Salvation and obedience to God always leads to joy" (Mitch and Zhava Glaser, The Fall Feasts of Israel, p.162). 18. Still watching...
  19. September 16-17, 2016 is the last of the Sextet of lunar eclipses on Passover/Tabernacles according to the biblical calendar discussed here. Tabernacles is associated with ingathering. An interesting quote about it... "Tabernacles is indeed the last of the appointed feasts and concludes the festive calendar. 219.)
  20. Billboard vinyl (used) can be bought for around $40 on KSL (Utah) I have not tried it in the garden. So 2016 garden, my corn, tomatoes, celery, kale, onions, carrots, basil, berries, etc. did well where I have been lasagna-ing for a number of years. What I planted in the newest area didn't grow beyond a few inches even with regular fertilizer (not enough real soil yet I guess). I seldom weed after the early spring except for a bi-weekly go over for wild morning glory in the garden and orchard. But then I only water where the plants are.
  21. Someone posted this yesterday on a Jubilee thread and I hadn't seen it before. It probably has most theories out there related to what others have thought the Jubilee year could possibly "mean." The calendar that this thread is talking about is shown about 24:40 in the video. This is not an endorsement but the information is interesting if you want to know what other's are thinking, but be aware, after 30 minutes this video turns into an ad. I would start 2 minutes in as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0sOp60ZqYI At the very beginning the magic 7 is talked about with regards to numerology (different from God's symbolic meaning for numbers) which is something the occult believe in. So watch how often you see the number 7 popping up, e.g. the Dow drop on Elul 29 in 2008 was 777 points. This year starting this fall in the Jewish calendar and as seen on the internet on October 2nd will be the Hebrew year 5777.
  22. Val Brinkerhoff I believe said it started at Sunday 9/11 and will continue through today. After the diaspora the Jews were unable to start their calendar as commanded in the bible and so they went to a way of figuring the calendar untied to the priests (now dispersed) who were commanded to establish the beginning of the year based on the moon and the ripeness of the barley harvest (as the wave offering with ripe barley would have to happen soon after the beginning of the new year.) The diaspora calendar started later was convenient because you could count on dates being a certain time year after year which is not something that can be done the way the House of Israel was commanded to start the year. This year the Sanhedrin started the year as commanded in the bible a month earlier than the diaspora calendar that you find on the internet. I am not saying their cannot be significance to Elul 29 next month as there is a reference to an "unclean" calendar in the scriptures I am told. But a friend who studies these things and has done the math said that the Day of Atonement started last night and will continue today, so I am watching...all of these dates including those this month and next month.
  23. Tomorrow 9/11 is the Day of Atonement which makes it a full year since the Jubilee year began. I will be "watching"...I invite all believers to join me.
  24. It is painful when those we love leave, I'm sorry that some of yours have left. But when things get tough folks tend to turn to God as we see so often in the BofM. All will have their chance. We will be helping people and all those that came before them through the millennium. I'm sure the number of missionaries on the other side is vast and they have, I imagine, some pretty great technology to reach multitudes at one time. There are still 144,000 folks who will yet take the gospel to the folks remaining (after the tribulations) on the Earth as well. There are still probably a lot of years before He comes finally to all in glory and the internet is pretty far reaching today and technology seems to just keep improving. Now the calamities/tribulations themselves could effect our neck of the woods (wherever that is) at any time. But seriously, if you want to pursue your topic further could you please take the off topic post to a new thread as this is about His Signs and Wonders in the Heavens? Thanks!
  25. I personally do not believe we have a couple of hundred years before the next of His comings... President Benson gave a talk at least twice that was quoted from by President Monson in conference where he said, “…God has saved for the final inning some of his strongest children, who will help bear off the Kingdom triumphantly. And that is where you come in, for you are the generation that must be prepared to meet your God…" President Ezra Taft Benson, “In His Steps,” CES Fireside, Feb. 1987; “In His Steps,” BYU Devotional 1979 most of which was quoted by President Thomas S. Monson in his “Closing Remarks,” October 2009
