  2. I can't remember how, but I had an institute teacher that explained to us that when we're married we basically almost "complete" our husband's priesthood (this is all very paraphrased). If anyone wants me to elaborate I can. My vote is false cuz as a woman, I know I have many other blessings, and the guys deserve at least one don't they?

    Good Books

I enjoy all sorts of books, so if you ever run out of ideas, get to me! lol I have a long list which includes timeless classics like peter pan, little women, sherlock holmes, the count of monte cristo, etc *half of which I actually still have to read... but then there's some like Lord of the rings and this book called quest and the good guy which're pretty awesome *once again some I can only just assume. Then there's some books from the church that are fictions like the work and the glory and some that're great talks that have been written out and stuff... the last name Lund... I can't remember the first name though... rings a bell of being great and John Bytheway is fun too. As I said before, if you get bored... let me know
  8. What do you mean there might be no third!?!??!! there has to be one!! Why wouldn't there be?! The story's just... hanging there!!
  9. The one I can't accept as dead is Black!! It was just too soon!! and unfair... lol and it really only does say he fell... but that's just my high hopes maybe... anyways that's my 2c.
  10. I like just about everything, yes even rap and screamo! lol Mind you, not all of everything ie- I like some songs here and there of just about everything. It really depends what mood I'm in I guess... lol Good question! :) ps- Welcome!
  11. This one's on Quest for Camelot!! 'cept I think he says "clucky" instead of lucky I'll add to this list later, but here's a couple of my favorites from the Lion King: The monkey's his uncle?! -Timon (when he's all confused about who Rafiki is and where Simba went off to) They call me... MR PIG!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! -Pumba (when the hyenas are going to eat Zazu and Timon) Whenever he gets dirty you can take him outside and beat him -Zazu (after Mufasa and he go to speak to Scar after he misses the ceremony; about scar as a rug-which he actually shows up as a skin in Hercules btw)
  12. I passed all my finals, though not with flying colours, but well enough I suppose. Thanks again! and see you around!
  13. This is a VERY difficult question SF. That's mainly because for everyone the answer will be different and for every child it will be too. I know that with a friend of mine we're always debating about various things because of our different views, many of which have emerged with the different ways we've been brought up. Example: he has basically supported himself from the age of 14 and I'm still depending on my parents for almost everything. I often think he takes on far too much of a "whatever" attitude to things, even things which many would find important in life. For example, he thinks that kids'll learn on their own basically, and that everyone, especially once a teen or young adult, should just make their own choices and if they mess up, well then it's their fault and their parent is not to blame at all... I don't know... I find it disconnecting. I can't begin to imagine my life with out the constant guidance of my parents, but I also think that now that they're starting to let me go little by little, I'm finding it hard to detach... so it's a tricky balance to master I think, an I'm glad, so far, that my parents brought me up the way they did.
  14. see... that's genius! but... I'm so silly... I'll go on for forever... and only study for 30mins! but so far, it's going well :) I think I'm doing great so now I just have to keep it up!
  15. aww thanks guys! and Pale... I already have... I'm so bad at being a good student...
  16. Aww that was cute and awesome! thanks! I'll have to listen to more country songs cuz I always find their lyrics pretty awesome.
  17. Ok... so I've decided that the best way to be somewhat more efficient in my studies is to stay out of chat rooms, so if you love me (I sure hope I'm loved... lol) you can PM me or answer to this post! I love you all! and will see you in the chat room come May!
  18. I've very recently become a YSA, but I also moved, so one of my big (in my opinion) obstacles is that of a non-existing social circle. I don't think it constitutes as the gospel helping me with it, but in a sense it is. The few people I've met so far are from my institute classes or institute choir (I haven't attended a YSA ward yet, but probably will in the next couple weeks), so I suppose you can say that through my search for gospel knowledge I've slowly been overcoming this dilemma. :)
  19. AMAZING!! I'd never heard of this! thanks oodles! I'm so bad at staying on track!! haha! but checking my email... well... i maybe do it too often
  20. I SO wish I was going, but I've been twice and there's 4 kids in my family, and I'm 18 and really I could be a counselor, and I have to work a lot... so... I'm not... but My brothers are going up to the Calgary. I LOVE EFY!!! Anyone who hasn't been should go, and if you don't have all the money, I'd suggest looking quickly into getting some kind of subsody. They have a form online I think... It didn't cover the whole cost when I went, but it deffinately helped a lot. On top of all that, it's deffinately worth what you pay and more.
  21. sometimes it takes something cool in the bathroom... but i really don't know... i just remember my cousin had this little car shaped potty trainer! haha! as for the constipation... try prune juice or milk or something fibreful like ALmom said... I really have no clue, but those are my suggestions.

    Books!

I didn't know there was a sequel to little women!! You have deffinately made my day! though... it will have to be added to the already long list, so we'll jut have to see when I get around to it oh! and I'm reading Wuthering Heights, and so far it's awesome! and! I just have to mention I'm stoked for The Golden Compass to come out !!
  23. I like what you're saying, especially because I know I do the health points a lot! I usually do it because my friends will be all: it loosens you up and makes you feel better and the one swig of wine a day clears up your arteries or whatever, but I always fail to affirm my spiritual belief. Thanks :)
  24. What do you mean this one hasn't any traffic?! haha! do you want a traffic jam?!
  25. We are baptized for the dead so that they can have a chance to attain the highest degree of glory (you may know it as Heaven). Everyone can use a hand once in a while and it's our responsibility, since we're able, to help our fellow predecessors. Baptism for the dead basically is like opening a door that's too heavy for a friend... bad analogy, but i think you get my drift. please ask if i don't make sense cuz i tend to not. . .
