  1. I'm not really for metal or any of that, personally (don't take this wrong, it's just my opinion) I think it's all just screaming and has no artistic value, besides stairway to heaven I'll give you that. 'Sides, I'm more for classical and some Alternative rock, can't stand old rock tho.
  2. Strange...
  3. It sounds like to me that your mad at God for some reason. What I think is your mad at Him for letting everything happen to you that did, and maybe homosexuality is just an act of rebellion in a sense along with the screaming profanities at the ceiling while praying. I'm probably quite off, but that's just what it sounds like to me. I was reading the Sermon "Sinners in the hand of an angry God" by Jonathen Edwards the other day and it just astounded me some of the things he believed. Things as in how God didn't care about anyone and that he was dangling them above a pit of lava (Hell) as though they were mice ready to be dropped into the fire. It was said people fainted of shock after Edwards had given his Sermon and I don't blame them. If that's who I thought God was, my life would be miserable, I can't imagine living in a church that contained such beliefs. God doesn't hate us, and God doesn't hate you. God loves us and acknowledges us as an elect generation, some of the strongest people of our times. He doesn't give us trial because he dislikes us, He only wants us to do better. Although, the first step to changing your life, is the desire. If you do something just because someone tells you to, it just doesn't last very long, i.e. (New Years resolutions heh ) I'm sure you've probably heard all this from other people before, and I've had people say stuff to me like, "Tell me something original not doctrine you took from someone else" but in all honesty, the trueness of the doctrine is always the same no matter who it's coming from.
  4. LOL If that was slightly possible I can't say I wouldn't believe you
  5. lol I think the rose just died overnight tho, no one was there when I got there (They were probably picking her up I'm guessing) and so I put the rose on the doornob, but they probably just went through the garage and no one saw it *sigh* well oh well
  6. Well thx everyone for the ideas, I ended up decorating her room in blue streamers and confetti and all sorts of blue stuff, spread candy hearts, and then had 25 blue balloons filled with a puzzle piece each, with the puzzle saying, "I'd be blue if I didn't go with you!" So I think it'll work pretty well! Oh, and I just barely got back from her house because I had wanted to leave a rose earlier but I didn't want it to dry out, so I took it over right after work and right before she gets home. Thx again everyone!
  7. lol that's funny gimp. Those are some good ideas, I like the balloon and puzzle idea, and am thinking somewhere along those lines. How do you make a puzzle tho? That would be really cool if I knew how to. Oh, and about that, well we're not exactly a couple officially (because we don't want any kind of relationship titles in high school) but I'd say pretty much with all unofficialities we are. I'm thinking with whatever I'm going to do for the reply, I'm going to see about chalking her driveway with all sorts of valentines stuff in addition to whatever I end up doing. (That is if the weather clears up of course )
  8. Hey this is about the Sweethearts dance we have round here, my best friend asked me the other night by inviting me to her house, I get there and her mom says she just left, so her and Whit went over to my house and put tons of Valentines decorations in my room, ribbons/balloons/candy and such and so my question comes... She's going to be gone this Thursday and Friday out of town (just her not her parents) and I was looking for some ideas on something to do to answer back that would be really sweet and creative. Anyone got any ideas?
  9. eh, can't honestly say a single one there is my style
  10. Yeah, I've got MSN, my sn is at [email protected]
  11. Oh, well yeah I don't see a problem with group dating. In general also, I'm not saying all turn out like that, but far too many high school relationships turn out in heartbreak. As sure as you can possibly be at times, everything can change. Right you are about deciding after your mission.
  12. Mm... that was a really good show... it really looks as though they're going to sequel it into a series though (not that I'm complaining of course )
  13. Maybe the best thing that you could do for yourself right now, is to, in a way 'start over'. What I mean by that is, Change your entire personality, I mean do you find yourself thinking to yourself, "I wish I was that kind of person..." Well, just all of a sudden one day, do your best to forget everything you know about your personality and be that person you want to be, at first it probably isn't exactly convincing, but after time it really will end up molding yourself into that kind of person. If I could make an analogy, I'd say for me it was like in school for my AP History class, we were supposed to read the whole textbook throughout the whole year, but for a term I read nothing, I was so behind and it just felt soo overwhelming I didn't have any drive to want to pick up the book. Instead, the next term, I just forgot about catching up, left the chapters I missed behind, and started with everyone else trying to keep up. Well if that makes any sense as to applying it... think I might have confused myself a bit there.
  14. I can't honestly say there's not much in high school relationships besides heartbreak. Thing is, they hardly ever work because, they're not supposed to work. Before I say much else, what do you mean by steady dating? Like do you and her single date, or are you in a relationship or do you just mainly date her?
  15. Well that's about how much I have. Sure wish I had more... ah well, soon enough it'll come by
  16. Hey all, just curious as to how much free time you generally have on your hands per day, week, or whatever.
  17. Well the world is definately becoming more and more wicked as we speak, but the world has yet to become so much worse. I think one day President Hinckley might just have to advise against even turning on the tv due to the wickedness of this world.
  18. lol well it's definately not like that around here. Round here it's more of a, that mormon blonde, stereotype.
  19. Hm yeah I don't like it how people stereotype cheerleaders like that. I went out with one to Homecoming this year, and she's not dumb and ditzy, she's been taking AP classes this year along with me. lol she told me though, she was all, "Man, I'm sick of people thinking I'm a loud obnoxious dumb cheerleader." She really seemed to get stereotyped that a lot by people who never really knew her.

  21. np. I've seen a lot of my friends get to know stalkers and they're just crazy, this one dude sounds exactly like that guy, he kept calling my friend and leaving her threatening messages and stuff, she did get a restraining order tho, and it's worked out really good.
  22. Has she still got the voicemail? Get a restraining order. Go to the local authorities, let them know what's happenning, show them the voicemail, and they'll take it from there. Problem solved. A lot of my friends have had kind of the same thing...
  23. Hello
  24. Well, Disruptive, I appreciate your input there, but that's gettin complicated. I'm not quite the engineer Anyways, thanks tons Strawberry fields, that was what I was looking for.
  25. Hey so I've just been looking into a few things lately about college, leadership roles in business, and how important it can be and am looking to develop that skill. I'm looking for a good, fundraising/charity project to organize for a state wide or local organization that in some way aims to better the life of our cititzens (sp?). This isn't for any sort of scout thing or what not, what I'm really aiming for in this, is to develop leadership abilities by on site experience, and believe it would do a college application good. So with that being said, does anyone have any service oriented, charity ideas on a large scale for the spring of next year? I'm looking for any possible ideas that would gain support of citizens state wide ranging from as far as a cure for a disease to most anything that aims to better the life of American Citizens. Along with any sort of idea, it would also be very helpful in supporting the program backboned with a cause to a certain individual/group. Anyways, this is all something new to me, but I really want to try it out, and make it work. Any input is appreciated!
