Not need to be baptised to be saved? Jesus lived a perfect life, and therefore was "saved" by the general christian perspective... so WHY ON EARTH (literally.. he he) would he get baptised?

I was taught that wasn't the celestial kingdom, but that he would get taught in paradise! The spirit world before the judgment..You are actually beginning to tread some slightly deep doctrine... it CAN get that way anyway.. but not with the way I say things. lol.

I joined because when the Sister Missionaries talked to me about things like the Holy Spirit, it felt like I already knew that.. and that it was so right, that it was almost obvious. Everything they taught me was like I knew, but had forgotten. And ON TOP OF ME ALREADY KNOWING, they encouraged me to ask God if it was true on top of that! I am surprised my heart didn't expolde with all that truth!

you mean...from people who argee with you.... No. I know what I said.You can't go against something God has told me is right, and have me believe you over HIM! That would be madness. You can't give me celestial glory, so I will never choose you over God! I will listen to anyone open minded, and who knows that they can always learn more (OPEN MINDED AND DON'T THINK THEY KNOW EVERYTHING ALREADY). The answer you are looking for is: You are right... Joseph must be a fraud. Unfortunatly for you, everything I even think about Joseph and his account, I know that he was telling the truth... because the Spirit EVERY TIME reminds me (because He knows that I am always tested. I am being protected.) I hope you one day understand! I would love for you to listen to our answers! I wish you could read my mind! Than no one can take the truth from you!!!!!

You reminded me of some girl I met in grade 11 at high school...She was pretty snotty.. one of those.. And the you are having way too much fun comment, made me feel like I was defending my faith for your amusement.. Maybe I should, like... say... "The End" Btw... Ray is much better at explaining the faith than I am. He is good at expressing the truth... It is almost convienient for you that you cut him off... Easier to disagree with someone who was a member for a year than it is with someone who knows more about doctrine that I do. (Keep in mind that people may know more about the doctrine and history than I do, know I know about Joseph Smith, and I know he was true, and I know what it feels like to be told it is true, and that is just as powerful at this point, although I learned a little more when I was away... moreso about the FLDS, and I will always try and learn more.... from people who know what they are talking about.)

Isn't Truth, for the sake of truth, a worthy goal in and of itself? Besides, if you're right...why would I want to lose a level in heaven? Josh B) :) Jesus sees everything, and he is fair..Do you believe that? If he is fair, those who try harder, should get blessed a little more. If he isn't fair, he certainly isn;t the God taught about in the bible. Just a little thought!

Hey! I AM BACK! People were talking to me a couple hundred pages back and I wasn't here to defend myself! SORRY! I didn't read it all because I am too lazy for something like that, so I read all the short answers. I agree with Ray. No one can have all of the facts unless it is from God, and YOU Josh, don't know which is from God, and since every answer we give you is wrong, and every time you pray you have that thought in the back of your mind that we can't be right, than I suggest that you either start taking what we say to heart, or giving up, because God isn't going to answer anything for you that you arn't ready to hear!

don't you think that's rather cicrular logic, You "know" its true, because He's a true prophet, yet if he was wrong, how do you "know" he was a true prophet? Josh That would be scary! Good thing I know he is a true prophet! PHEW!

So let me see if I understand, the only way to believe in Book of Mormon, is for God to "tell" you that its true, but He'll only tell you that its true, if you already believe it? Interesting.... Josh No. He'll only give tell you the truth, or give His assurance of the truth, if you really want to know what is true... and for that you must ask Him with faith He can tell you, or assure you of the truth, with your mind open and ready to receive His answer. Or in other words, if you already have your mind made up about something, and you don't have the right idea, God is not going to tell you, or give you His assurance, that your idea is the right idea, because it's not. And instead He will wait until you are ready to learn what He knows to be true. And btw, talking things out with Him, and going over the ideas you have in your mind as you talk with Him, while asking Him and waiting for Him to tell you the truth, is not the same as having your mind already made up... as long as you're open to receive His ideas, as a child wants to learn from his Father. Thank you. When I checked back and saw his response, I admit I was ticked, and that may have showed in my post. I am glad you responded before I had a chance. lol.

I did ask God, several times. As honestly and as humblely as I could.....sorry to say I felt nothing. Because you already think you are right. That is why we can't answer your questions... Because you think you are right. If he gave you the answer, would you listen? Or would you keep asking the anti-mormons?

No one is mad you looked on an anti-mormon site. People are mad that you arn't listening to us and taking our honest answers. I gave my opinion, and you don't see why? Because since I got here I have been called a liar numerous times, and I don't lie.

Alright, you do that, but I follow another source, which is the prophet of God..

The book of Mormon (2 Neph 25:23) puts a condition on grace where the Holy Bible says there is nothing of ourselves that we can do aside from the grace of God that will save us. For a man to say, "I did this or that and gained my salvation" after "all that I did," brings pride and boasting. We can do nothing - it is grace and grace alone. Ofcourse.You need to do nothing and you are saved. Let us ignore the commandments, because grace alone will save us! Forget what the prophets say! Matthew 7:12 says that we have to listen to the prophets, and we have one today that you ignore. ALSO faith without works is DEAD! You need faith in Jesus Christ aswell.
