  1. Speaking from personal experience working in the pet trade, California Kings are NOT child friendly what so ever. Every single one I've worked with except one has been ill tempered, especially a wild one. Sorry to hear about that.
  2. Wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men!
  3. The playlist I listed is what I use for work when I'm cleaning aquariums or shelves. When I'm at the gym I generally listen to really heavy or aggressive bands such as... Cardio: Touche Amore Comeback Kid Vanna The Chariot Dead Hearts Alexisonfire Lifting: Norma Jean Poison the Well Maylene and the Sons of Disaster ABRB Killswitch Engage Thanks for the lists and suggestions so far!
  4. Very nice mirkwood! I love Pink Floyd! Haha man, does Rush ever take a break? I swear they are always touring!
  5. Speaking from personal experience, not controlling lustful desires can have serious consequences, namely, potentially ruining a valued relationship and marginalizing a sacred act.
  6. What are the last few songs you can't get out of your head or that you've been listening to a lot lately? Maybe a whole playlist? Here's my own little playlist over the last couple weeks... 7. I very much like that response CrimsonKairos. :)
  8. Yes, I do believe he is engaged in human affairs. I also answer yes, he is interested in the choices of any and all individuals. I do not believe it indicates passiveness, rather, I believe that God understands human weakness, temptations, and that no man can always stand tall, because we all have many imperfections and all make mistakes.
  9. I understand that is a very broad question, but I'm curious to hear what people have to say. For myself, Christianity is not just a particular brand of theology. It's the reminder that God exists, and is there to save humanity from themselves. That he was willing to give us Christ who would teach a simple message of love and faith, and who would willingly give up his life for us. It is the belief that, no matter how many times I stumble and fall, that He is there to reach out his hand and lift me from the ground. It's the beauty that there will come a day when war, famine, suffering, and heartache will end, and we will know true happiness and love not often found on this Earth. It is my foundation, it reminds me to love even when scorned, mocked, or despised, that humbles me when I become conceited or proud, and continually acts a reminder that despite my mistakes, short comings, and failures, that God will love me regardless. This is what my faith means to me. I apologize for taking up your time, and thank you in advance for taking the time to read this in the first place.
  10. I've always had a hard time with a question like this. I feel That my choice in faith is right, in the sense of that it is right for me, but might not be right for someone else. Personally, I believe that the relationship with God is personal, and each person might have a different way of expressing it, depending on their own self, their culture, etc. One might identify as Christian, another Muslim, a third might say he has no major affiliation but simply 'believes.' I feel like I can't really say that one is necessarily more correct than another without opening a can of worms. Furthermore, I think that God values the righteous regardless of a particular faith, or the lack thereof. (Which isn't to say that anyone here is saying/suggesting that, it's just my own thought) I apologize if this is a poor answer or doesn't properly respond to the question...
  11. "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"
  12. Random silly thought to add... Playing the video game Dead Space makes me nervous about what is out there in the universe. Haha
  13. Ding Dong. (The Witch is dead)
  14. I wouldn't let the possible judgment from others based on appearance deter you from following your faith or attending church. As far as what choice you should make is entirely up to you. I like what Dravin had to say, personally.
  15. Right!? I don't know about your old parish but at my parish the pews are EXTREMELY uncomfortable, besides Jesus and the saints staring you down...
  16. Personally, the rare time I attend an LDS sacrament, I do not take the sacrament out of respect because I am not a member of the LDS church, nor do I live by the same standards of an upstanding member. The same reason I do not take the Catholic Eucharist when I attend mass.
