Just a quick sidebar, Nate. Are you saying that Songs of Solomon is not from God? Is it? Is it debateable? Im not stateing but asking.

The Q'uran was not written by Mohammad but by those in attendance of his teachings. Very similar to some of the sections of D&C. The same test of a mans spiritual authenticity can be compared from Joseph Smith to Mohammad in relation to the BoM and the Q'uran. I am not stating that I believe the Mohammad was a prophet, then again i'm not saying that he wasn't. "By their fruits ye shall know them". When reading the Q'uran one can not say that the author did not have the spirit of Christ in those teachings. All the teachings, no. But then again is All the teachings in the Bible from God? Songs of Solomon? Food for thought.

3rd Stryker Bgd just had there july date pushed back to Nov/Dec. 4th Stryker BGD is now being pushed up 3 months and you will be seeing them in about 2 months. SO instead of 4th replacing 3rd they are teaming up cause of Bush's new stratagy. The numbers are being pushed in but hopefully not at the sanity of the soldiers expence.

He has had some critics in his teachings but I find them rather insightfull. The whole thousand year series is incredible.

Hey, you can say I'm in a cult for all I care (for people do). Does it really matter. Mormon, LDS, monkeys. I'm not really concerned cause its true regardless. I know thats not the point but many people get so bent out of shape over little discrepencies. The Church is true, yah baby.

I my self have lived where SuzieKL lives and completely agree with her. I found that the Muzlims were more kind and trustworthy than most Buhdists, Hindu's, and Christians that I had encountered. Could the same remark be given to the Christians for the crusades? Is Christianity "evil" because there was a time that a certain sect thought conversion by the sword wasnt that bad.

I would wonder if he even had access to a Quran in english? Even today I served my mission in an Isamic country and was told that it was a big no no to translate the Quran in any other language other than Aribic. It took me many months to actually find one. I know its not that hard to get one and im not sure why it was so hard for me. When was the first english version even published?

I would consider anyone who follows Christs teachings a saint. What we refer to is that we believe that we are the Saints of Christs restored gospel today(being the Latter Days). We believe that Christ through a prophet restored truths and doctrines either lost from a period of apostasy or new truths to help prepare the earth for its Makers return. Hence our name THE Church of Jesus Christ (meaning his restored church) of Latter-Day Saints (today just like when he was upon this earth). Thats our proclamation to the world but in now way do we exclude Christians who follow the teachings of Jesus to be anything but Saints, christian, brothers and sisters. B) Your have LDS as your religion so I dont mean to sound like im teaching a primary lesson to you but rather information to all.

In a worse case scenario just use your credit card. Its the American way to do. That way you can pay for your sins now with money we don't have and try to forget about it except our minimum payment which just like this earth will take you an eternity to pay off.

Good point, I think maybe we should of thought about that from the getgo.

Holy smoke you have no idea. We are so lookin forward being done with makin kids (she is getting a hysterecomy after this one). I have nothing to "let me have it" cause its been hard, very difficult pregnancys. Now that its coming to an end we are both gratefull that we did not choose an easy road of no more difficult pregs for now the wonderfull life we have in our home. We prayed very much on our kids and did nothing unless we have personal revelation in regards to them. We have had them early myself being 27 now with soon 4 kids and its going to be great in 10 years when we can all go out hiking together or anything outdoors.

My wife and I are expecting our 4th kids and just hit our 5 yr anniversary. I think its something in the water. Truthfully sometimes I find great joy and others times all I can do is lay curled up in a ball back in the corner saying "why oh why" as I cry myself to sleep.

Oh snap! Well if you would excuse me I have something to do.

On my mission I had a comp who had done what your thinking of but it was the Army. Right when he got home off his mission he went to Afganastan. He was an awsome missionary and had a maturity that most other Elders did not. I on the other hand went on a mission then joined the Army. My mission helped me get through boot camp and made me a better soldier. I did notice one thing in military training. It splits people in two. Either you get "jail house religion" or you fall into the rest of the mainstream with profanity and casual conversation about inappropriate comments. I actually baptized a guy in my basic and then again I saw a lot of guys come in who professed faith and acted with dignity but by the end had mouths like sailors and turned into the type you wouldn't want in the same room with your mom cause it would make you uncomforatable. I was the only trainee that didn't cuss and eventually I kind became the spiritual backbone of my platoon. My role was almost of a chaplin. I completely contribute that to my mission. Through my whole training by the end I had taken about 1/2 the platoon with me to church. "All of us are put against the grinder of life. We will either break down or buff out with a shine depending upon what we are made of" Unknown

Perfect Drawing upon a talk from Cleon W Sckousin on the Atonement (spelling) Not implying that the elements are disobediant but have been placed in a fallen state from man cause man had dominion of earth. Man fell and what he had dominion of fell. The elements are obedient but need to go through the same process. Nothing will skip a step, even from Telestial to Celestial. Everything progresses in the order that has been set forth.
-
I disagree with you. Everyone and everything needs the Atonement. The earth fell when Adam and Eve fell. When Christ comes again and touches the earth it will change back to terrestrial. The earth will become celestial along with everything in and on it. That is why the the earth was baptized by water (Noah) and will be baptized by fire (second coming). John saw animals praising God in vision. The animals have fallen as well cause they can and do die. The very elements that have intelligence will progress and resurrect because the Atonement is eternal and vicarious for all His creations.

Same, but the effects to us will be eternal.
