  1. I'm suprised someone hasn't done this already, but do a google search on his e-mail addy. It turns up some rather interesting results. Wife swapping, and Shadow Jedi Training......oh my... Then again maybe he's Dubya..??
  2. I'm not putting down what he is doing. I probably know more about what he is going through now then anyone else on the boards.
  3. Why? Elphaba Actually Limbaugh approached our table. There was 3 of us sitting at a table talking about the previous day's Steelers game, and he came to us to talk about that. I was the only one that recognized him, and invited him to join us. Limbaugh is a huge Steelers fan, from his days of working at a radio station in Pittsburgh. We mostly talked football, and a little bit about what we did in our paticular jobs where in the military. Their was no discussion of politics at all, and Limbaugh was very cordial and instrested in what we were doing.
  4. Show me exactly where in an AR? I've show you specifically where it states they are within the rules, if you going to claim I'm wrong you could at least return the favor. And exactly under which UCMJ article was they thinking of using against these soldiers? The fact that they never did take any action against them should be proof enough they wouldn't have had a case, if they had pushed the issue. I have a little bit of personal experience with this, when we came back from Iraq on of my soldiers wrote a very critical article that was printed in one of the Savannah newspapers. Our BN cdr was pushing for a field grade ar-15 for her. While she was in the process or receiving it, when she was at TDS several JAG officers suggested to refuse the NJP ar-15 and request a court martial hearing, because the command had no ground to stand on. She did in fact do this, and indeed never even had a court martial hearing. After some meetings between JAG and the BN cdr, somehow the charges just went away..
  5. #3 an M203 doesn't hold "bullets", it can only hold one 40mm grenade at a time. Which btw isn't very safe, you should keep a 203 unloaded till your ready to use it. Oh and mine was #1, Limbaugh has never visited Iraq (to my knowledge), but has been to Afghanistan twice, and I did have lunch with him while he was in Afghanistan.
  6. 1. Had lunch with Rush Limbaugh, when he was in Iraq. 2. Saw flight 93 go down, while visiting reletatives in Somerset PA on 9-11. 3. I'm going to Penn State double majoring in history and education, and double minoring in political science and economics.
  7. Yes, there is one right next to my aunt's house. So whenever there is a movie to see we bring the little portable radio, and patio chairs and watch the movie from on top her garage.
  8. Someone forgot, or more likely willfully neglected, the standards of the church they profess to belong to.
  9. Actually you are incorrect. This is a common misconception with people in the military though, mainly stemming from UCMJ Article 88, however that article only applies to commissioned officers, all 7 in this case are NCOs. Article 134-12 could be used for an enlisted member, however this is very rarely used, and only for obvious and extreme cases. Members of the military can write letters to newspapers -- so long as they are not part of an organized letter campaign for a political candidate, party, or partisan political cause. (AR 600-20, Apx.b ). Additionally speech and publication issues are covered in DoD Directive 1325.6. Most specifically is this point: 3.5.1.3. The fact that a publication is critical of government policies or officials is not, in itself, a ground on which distribution may be prohibited.
  10. Sorry I don't have a photobucket account, nor do I have a myspace, facebook, long winded blog, or other such things. I have neither the time nor inclination to engage in such trivial pursuits. Actually the only places where I post anything is here and on geocaching.com's forums.
  11. Using firefox: Right click on the picture, then click on "copy image location". Open a new tab. right click on the address bar and click on "copy" http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb308/r...sen/elphie3.jpg will appear in the address bar. delete the "elphie3.jpg", this will let only http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb308/rspetersen/ which is the direct link to the homepage of you photos. And there you are :)

  14. Deseret First Credit Union Sharing Your Values Commerical 1 Commerical 2
  15. I still want someone to explain the soup can to me!! It drives me nuts every time I look at that pic.
  16. Is that the X-Files song I hear in the background? Some of you people are just too paranoid.
  17. Utah county is in the 3rd district with a gerrymandered portion of west Salt Lake County. It remains in the solid Republican column. The 2nd district includes such likely bedfellows as urban Salt Lake County and rural southern Utah to dilute the will of the gentile voters. So is Provo in 2 or 3 then? And what district anywhere in the country isn't gerrymandered? Actually Byrd was an "Exalted Cyclops", which is local chapter leader.
  18. Well...as far as I know at least Byrd didn't leave a girl drown in a river..
  19. DOH!!! I'm ashamed of myself...how could I forget "Sheets" Byrd??? I'm slacking..
  20. Ok going a bit off topic here, but Shan do you know a good place where you can get the 1:24,000 scale USGS Quadrangle topo maps at? The best topo maps I can find are the 1:100,000, from the software that came with my GPS (Garmin Mapsource).
  21. First of all let me say I'm not a Republican, but to say that its only Republicans that have ethics issues and billionaires in Washington is ludicrous. I'm thinking of a scripture here...Matthew 7:5, yes thats it.... Dems with ethics issues (off the top of my head) Barney Frank running a gay prostitution ring out of his apartment. Ted Kennedy / Bill Clinton - I don't think I need to say anymore here. Cynthia McKinney(sp?) assaulting a capitol police officer for not letting her bypass security at the capitol. Al Gore Jr. caught in CA driving his prius over 100mph with marijuana and prescription pain meds with someone else's name on it in his car. I'm still iffy on this one though, I have a hard time believing a prius can do 100mph This was the second time he's been pulled over by the police and found to be in possesion of marijuana 2003 and 2007. William Jefferson took bribe money and kept it in a freezer in his New Orleans home. After Katrina had several vehicles of the LA National Guard deverted to his house just to retrieve this freezer. Stemming the ever popular joke about Jefferson's "cold hard cash" Jim McGreevey affair with two gay lovers. One of his boyfriends Golan Cipel, an Isreali, McGreevey appointed as his states director of homeland security despite the fact he didn't have any knowledge applicable to the job, and as a non-US citizen he wouldn't be able to obtain the high level security clearance he would need for the job. Millionaire Republicans.. Well read for your self. Note though I couldn't find any data about the recent Senate, and Chaffee lost his reelection bid. Leaving all five top slots to be occupied by Democrats. http://www.opensecrets.org/pfds/overview.a...05&filter=S
