Doing Genealogy and "Molly" was most commonly used to distinguish grandmothers. Most often it traces back to Mary, Martha, or Margaret. Like Polly and Nana. Molly was also used as a name for nanny servants and wet nurses. And would in due time become a common name for goats. Molly Mormon referred to a group of women who were a man's wives during the era of polygamy. Molly is most commonly used as a name for pets especially small female spaniels. It is also used a lot at the Zoo. Molly has been used in early childhood reading books because it rhymes with jolly and holly. "Black Molly" is another name for a dooms day torpedo. Least not to forget Molly Millions aka "Razor Boy."

Owen Lovejoy (a congregational minister in Princeton, IL from 1839-1856) led a very prominent opposition toward Joseph Smith and the Saints during the days of Nauvoo. There is just so much history surrounding this time period and the events that would change the course of so many lives.

The problems that I had encountered with young girls wanting to date my sons was not a sexual issue. Girls 12-15 years of age frequently are asking boys for "gifts." It's not a trophy thing but just greed. Their relationships are nothing more than a school yard flirt. That flirt has nothing to do with kissing, hand holding or hugging. What do parents think when their daughters bring home these gifts (cd's, t-shirts, earrings, etc.)? From age 16 through high school graduation, there are kids (boys or girls) who target kids who work. Kids who date and both are employed are generally more considerate about spending money. It's okay to pay for a movie ticket once in a while or split a pizza. I have been very challenged as a parent as to dealing with this very popular trend. Thus far "NO" was the only answer and it seems to work until they have a "steadydate" relationship. Then it's back to square one and gifts.

During the mid 70's through the 80's, the institutions become so overcrowded and unable to take care of those who had been living there for years, that they simply released the ones termed as "slow", "deaf", etc. The institutions did not "place" these people. They simply walked them to the gate. Some were in street dress and some were in pajamas. Some had shoes and some did not. None of them had communication skills and they begin wondering the streets. We learned about this situation in our city from a deli owner who gave sandwiches to the homeless behind his store in the evenings. Needless to say these people did not have any form of identification. They were housed in half way houses and YMCA's until they could be evaluated and found permanent homes. The institution would finally give a press release that 800 people had been released but only about 200 of those people had been located. The litigation regarding this act would be an occasional update in the newspaper. Many changes have come about since that time which was not so long ago.

All people were found worthy of the Antonement. Preparing for the Celestial Kingdom will be different for each person according to life's experiences.

Young children refer to stupid as the "s" word. It carries the same significance as a cuss word! Worth carries different values for different people.

I am happy to report that we do not have one librarian who is overweight! Nor or any of the library attendants overweight. Most of the books on religion are not on the religion shelf with all the anti-religion books. You just have to know where to look. I am on the board that sponsors funds for the library!

I'd amend that to read: "The bigger your waistline, the more rolliness it can contain." Just sayin' it like it is. I was at a baseball game tonight. I don't recall seeing any really heavy people. I didn't see anyone fighting for HC Parking, getting assistance with their scooters, canes, or oxygen tanks. When I go to a sports event, I check the weather forecast to see if we need jackets, usually take an umbrella and always carry bug-off spray. Try to get there early enough to get autographs and maybe a ball cap or t-shirt freebie. It's really hard to find interesting activities that heavy people will attend. They have so many allergies.

All people will endure obstacles in their lives and will be helped through those days. Carrying a heavy load of burdens will become lighter as you help others. A prayer for someone who needs as much as you, will uplift you everyday.

You have been with your partner since you were 17 years old. And you had a former girlfriend for a year when you must have been 16 years old. You need to take care of your relationship but take a lot of time to seriously get your life together (work, career, foundation). Find out what your partner wants in life and set some goals.

Why Do You Face So Much Opposition?
Annabelli replied to prisonchaplain's topic in LDS Gospel Discussion
The only opposition that I have witnessed among the churches is the need to be recognized as being #1. All churches linking to God, Jesus, & the Holy Ghost, also link to the old Testament as a foundation. And you cannot be #1 until the Jews break their covenant with God. What is the difference of a pope, prophet, minister, preacher....etc? All are the leaders of their religious sects. Opposition is usually contributed to fear. A small church with about 20 members will have little or no opposition. People just refer to it as "the little white church house." Fear is a taught trait. Change is also a trait of fear. Most people associate their religion to their grandparents preferences. Trust is also apart of opposition. Comfort being the next challenge of opposition. Therefore opposition is a very complex human behavior. -
My friend's eight year old came home from an overnight trip with a very stinky bag of clothing. At first she thought it was camp fire smoke and thought nothing of it. But the stink was sickening and after she pulled all the clothing out, she noticed a used dirty nicotin patch stuck to the bottom of the bag. She threw the bag away and washed the clothes with laundry detergent/color plus bleach but they still stink. She dried them with dryer sheets and you can readily smell the odor. I gave her a full box of baking soda for the wash and she added a cup of white vinegar to the rinse. And then dried them again. Their hanging on the back porch because they still stink! Is there anything else to get rid of the odor?

During the times of Abraham, cannibalism and human sacrifices to Gods were not unusual. In this scripture, God is showing the difference of him, GOD, and the Gods being worshiped by the other cultures.

This is sad but the last time that I was at the doctor's office and they needed to get a blood pressure reading, I had to go to the pediatric's side to use the blood pressure arm band! I am not a petite person. What does too heavy mean? It means that Care Facilities can turn you down for Assisted Living and Nursing Home Care. There just are not that many people want a job lifting heavy people and employees usually cannot get medical insurance because of the high injury risk in this line of work. Heavy people are usually crankly and mean. Beauty comes from good works; it does not come from indigestion.

I did have to teach my children that teenagers were okay. Even though that was years ago, parents need to talk to their young children about teenagers because one day their children will be teenagers. We have two jr high schools which share a building with the elementary schools. It has been a very successful program. The middle schools have their own buildings as does the high schools.

Myspace Fizzles While Facebook Sizzles?
Annabelli replied to StrawberryFields's topic in General Discussion
When I made my post, I was just giving some information about keeping your kids safe on myspace. There are many good people posting pictures and interesting information about their special interest and collectibles...etc. It seems to be a good program for honest people like you guys. Sorry. -
My oldest son is 20 yrs old and the other will be 18 this year. I was in the grocery store a couple of days ago shopping for ice cream in the freezer section when three teenage boys came along buying pizza. They had a shopping cart filled with their skate boards and roller blades. It was fun watching them buy pizza and listening to their conversation about toppings. When I got to the check out lane, they were checking out. A service counter clerk came over and asked the boys if they had broke anything. They looked surprised and shocked. Apparently a customer had told the store employee that the boys were smashing things. The store employee had checked the freezer section and did not find anything broken but still asked them. I spoke up and said that I was shopping on the same isle and that the boys were just selecting pizza. It was pretty obvious with a cart loaded with sporting gear that they were not skating in the store. We have some strict child discrimination laws in my state and I would imagine in every state it is the same. We have a skate park not too far from this store. It does seem that young athletes are targets for discrimination.

Many children have been taught to be afraid of teenagers. That may seem incredible but it is true. And it is very hard to teach them that teenagers are good people. This was one of the most surprising experiences that I had as a parent. Satan has planted so many bad things about teenagers in the minds of people that he almost has teenagers to himself. How sad is that? It is an overwhelming responsibility to teach your children that growing up and becoming teenagers is okay. We have had amazingly good years as teenagers.

Take for instance that a guy/gal knew that they were going to be born and that their trial would be alcoholism and drug addition and all the crimes related to that lifestyle. When they get here, they take a look around and say life could be sweet, I'm blowing off that trial. I'm going straight and becoming a Saint. And with the free agency, they can do just that. You might think the trial was choice and that they made it. But what was their original agreement? That they would become alcoholics, drug users, commit hideous crimes and repent. Was repentance their true trial? How many people say that I knew that I was coming here and that I would have a comfortable life, marry a good person, and raise honest children who would have good lives. Theres a lot of sacrifices and trials in that agreement. It takes so much more endurance to live a good life. When I met someone who is familiar but a stranger to me, I feel that it is the Spirit which has brought us closer. Someone that I will be inspired to share the gospel with or someone who was inspired to share the gospel with me. The gospel is most often shared in life's experiences.

There was not rain before the great flood. The people at that time had only known dew. Gen 7:11 ¶ In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Where do we get all this information about the preexistence and the fall? Heaven was not even there. I don't think Luke 10:18 (And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven) reveals a great battle.

Are Subway Trains computer programmed to run the route or do they have driver's? The NY Times has ran stories about rats infesting the subways but none of the reporters have witnessed intelligent rats or aliens among the homeless people living there. This topic is slowly drifting toward the Ninja Turtles isn't it?
