  1. Maybe they looked like these Japanese "crop circles."Japanese "crop circles" Elphaba
  2. I love your son's smile...he looks adorable! Also, your wife has stunning eyes.Congratulations! Elphaba
  3. You put the space in the wrong place? Elphie (who would be insane without her the rapist!)
  4. Not off the top of my head, no...but, in a few episodes in Star Trek Enterprise "bathroom topics" are mentioned. Trip had to tell a 4th grade class what happens with the 'waste' after people go to the bathroom and Sim mentioned how he couldn't imagine living the rest of his life in a shuttle craft - "peeing in a bottle" for the rest of his life (which was only going to be for a couple days). Any Trekkie, knows what I'm talking about. Not true. Rupert Everett, a gay actor; played a gay character twice. In a movie called Another Country and also in My Best Friend's Wedding. Also, Sean Hayes from Will and Grace. Isn't he a gay actor who was playing a gay character? I couldn't help myself, I had to share. :) M. Maureen, He also played a gay man in "The Next Best Thing" with Madonna. He's yummy. Elphaba
  5. Wow. I guess I'm wrong. That's fabulous! But that's in public. So, I'd be surprised if private establishments allowed you to do it. But then, it sounds like I basically don't know what I'm talking about, and that's a good thing! :) Elphie
  6. And a gay person. Elphaba
  7. Hi Susie! I can't really get into the "self-love" books. But I love Leo Buscaglia. I think it's because he "is" love. Hope you're having a great day. Love, Elphaba
  8. Yeah, Yediyd, haunting is a perfet word to describe it. Unfortunately, on YouTube you don't get the total effects from it. It's a bummer you couldn't get the widescreen version. I guess it's a matter of taste. I love the creative, artsy stuff. I know you do too. Elphaba
  9. Charley, I don't know how important this is to you. But once you are in the states, more than likely you will be asked to leave the chapel. It's not just a LDS thing. I assume only the most liberal of cities would allow you to nurse in public, if then. The U.S. is very burkha-ish when it comes to breast-feeding in public. Elphaba
  10. Wow. You must have been a real drag before! Just kidding. I think that's a lovely story Yed. Love, Elphie
  11. I agree with PR. That is an awesome story. But then, knowing you, I'm not at all surprised. Love you, Elphaba we have to stop this agreeing stuff.......LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Wow.You're in my thoughts. Elphaba
  14. Hey PR,At what point in the conversation with a gay person do you tell him/her that you believe what they are doing is morally wrong? I just can't imagine that coming up in a normal conversation. Elphaba
  15. Charley, Wait until you get here! I love your attitude. There is an obssession, not only amongst LDS, but in the whole country right now about sexual orientation, and to me it is such a non-issue. I have a number of gay friends, and it is extremely presumptuous to assume they are not happy. The only reason they may not be happy is the lack of acceptance, but they learn to overlook that, for the most part. They have to. It's also interesting you brought up breast-feeding. I know of a woman right now who is appalled because her bishop has asked her not to breast-feed her baby in church. Why is something so natural, and so healthy for her baby, supposed to be hidden? Why should she have to leave the meeting? Elphaba
  16. Let me guess. You agreed with me and punched a hole through the dryer door! Elphaba
  17. Albinism is not a disease. It is a genetic disorder where a child inherits the recessive albino gene from both parents. Additionally, an albino is not always "all white." Some people don't even realize they are albino. They may just have very light skin and hair and blue eyes. It is often diagnosed through the eyes. Elphaba
  18. Okay, try typing in www.fredoviola.com Other than that, I don't know why it's not working. Elphaba
  19. Yeah, it froze my computer too. So I replaced the link below. It works, but it does freeze for a couple of seconds, but then it runs. (Hit your spacebar.) It's really worth watching. The Sad Song Video Elphaba
  20. This guy, Fredo Viola, made this video out of what must have been a gazillion 15-second JPG files and, did something high tech with them that is totally out of my league. I thought it was awesome. The Sad Song Video Elphaba
  21. The afternoon of Joseph's murder, shortly after 4:00 p.m., Joseph, his brother Hyrum, John Taylor and Willard Richards shared some wine with their guards. Then they were attacked by the mob, and Joseph and Hyrum were murdered. Elphaba
  22. One of the reasons times have changed is that in most of your examples the people, on average, didn't live very long. Frankly, with life expectancy rates what they are today, your examples are good arguments for "teenagers" not having to act like adults until they've had time to mature a bit longer. Elphaba P.S. There weren't "loads of child protection laws" in the early 1900s. Maybe you meant later?
  23. Missouri requires parental consent for a minor to get an abortion. Elphaba
  24. Wait...were you called a "stupid Mormon," a stupid "Mormon," or a "stupid" Mormon"? I have a funny story. Thirtymumble years ago, we had a convert give a talk on how we shouldn't call ourselves "Mormons." I swear, people gasped! It was unthinkable for him to say such a thing! Really, he was soon set straight. I remember thinking he was out of line. Now I think he was very brave, and very right. Elphaba I didn't pay attention to where they put the emphasis...they were using bullhorns....I just said to my companions..."Another FINE example of Christ's love!!!" These hate mongers were calling US non-Christian...we were not accosting them, or calling THEM names!!! ...Never ceases to amaze me!! Just what exactly did they think they were accomplishing? You catch more flies with honey than vinegar...insulting us was NO WAY to convert us!!!! ...But WE are the ones who are called non-Christians!!!! ...OK...deep breath...I'm better now... Bullhorns??? Are they like the idiots outside of Tempe Square at Conference? I don't get it, either. They're whackos. Elphie
