miztrniceguy Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 I am surprise this thread is still open but I agree with the bytorr2112there has been no mention of a particular candidate, altho I hear a former candidate is likely to be the running mate of another candidate that has not named his choice for VP. funkymonkey Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 I really enjoyed the olympics being on multiple channels because it would actually have different sports on each one. But the convention has one stage with usually one speaker on it...so it seems kinda overkill that it's on a bunch of different channels. ONE is totally enough. Quote
Captain_Curmudgeon Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Best bet for Mondays: Prison Break. Watched it this week and I'll watch it next week.As it should turn out, Sara is coming back. The actress who plays Sara, Sarah Wayne Callies, is a friend of friends who live in HI and they all say she's really a nice person. Quote
kona0197 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Fail. Prison Break is a very stupid show. Quote

Captain_Curmudgeon Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Second season was silly, particularly for those of us here in UT. The writers were too lazy even to look at maps and the various characters were taking stupid to impossible routes to get here. They were calling it TOO-lee for a couple of episodes and when they got there, NO MOUNTAINS. Their depiction of Blanding (or was it Monticello) was beyond laughable. Third season was just a dead loss, I thought. But, hey, I've got to see Sara (and Sarah) back. Sarah was off having a baby between the second and third seasons and they told her she could come back and then double-crossed her by not picking up her contract, which they had promised. Don't know if it was angry fans like me or something else, but having killed her off at the beginning of season three, I'm curious how they're going to bring her back. And, my original point, this past Monday and this coming Monday it looks like the best bet for me and my two-bit antenna. Quote

bytor2112 Posted August 29, 2008 Author Report Posted August 29, 2008 Scary Movie is over.......I hope there is not a sequel. Quote
funkymonkey Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 I don't get why at the beginning of every season they have to keep killing off the love interest. Atleast this past season they killed that girl in the season finale, instead of the primere. Quote

FunkyTown Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Prison Break was possibly the best show ever in its first season. I agree with the Cap'n. I own the first and second season and plan on buying the third. :) Quote
Captain_Curmudgeon Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Not looking forward to Feb of next year are you? After Super Bowl Sunday, the TV prospects are so bleak that I've tried to find out where and when my ward meetings are so I can attend. Usually by the time I do find out, it's NBA playoff time and I put off my attempted attendance until after the next Super Bowl. Quote
breeb Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Whenever something political is on I always think of Jeff Foxworthy......"The presidents on......he's on EVERY channel.....ahhhh!" Quote
