In need of help w/ research project

Hi, I'm Shelly and I live in Orange County, CA. I'm an 11-year convert to the Church. I go to UC Irvine and I'm taking a lit class about boundary crossers (spirits, creatures, etc. that pass from their world into ours). My project is on LDS experiences with evil spirits, and I need to collect as many accounts as I can. I'm looking for stories of something that has happened to you or someone you know, or something that you have heard. I know it seems like an odd request but I'd really appreciate the help! My immediate need is help with this paper but beyond that I am interested in interacting with people on the site. Thanks, everyone!

Welcome to the forum. I agree difficult and shaky issue to talk about. I am sure I have had some experiences in the past, but I tend to white wash areas that I've considered grey in my life. In otherwords, I've had my moments of being depressed and considered the end of my existance. But I've gotten over them thanks to the love of family, and the loving guidence of the Bishop. If that's white wash, then I am glad for it. And that's all I'll talk about my dark moments.

Hi and welcome. In a special forum called mormonism, which has no moderators and is more or less driven by the opposite side.... a few times, when I been there, I have felt so bad that I have not been there long, but long enough to see that it seems always to have something to do with a special person there, when ever that person is around... I feel horrrible there.

I also have seen someone "become darker". I believe that when a person is committing sins that person "gets darker"... it is like a shadow over that person. It is like a dark power filling them.

I also felt that sometimes when I was in christian forums.
