If you can't, do you think you could staple his tongue to his upper lip? That should quiet him down for a while. At least until the staple rusts and falls out.

Somebody on another thread said she has a lot of stored mayo since it's a staple in her kitchen. Instead of stapling Kona's tongue to his upper lip how about making him a sandwich?
