marshac
Excellent video- thanks for sharing. The founding fathers have always been some of my favorite figures in history- I think that if you asked some random person on the street thought about quotes likeThe tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. They would probably say that it was the utterance of a radical and potentially dangerous person.... not Thomas Jefferson

The concept of bondage or entitlement is the not radical and without dangerous possibility. The Traveler

Newcomer4831
The guy should have looked up in the dictionary of what a republic is "a state in which the supreme power rests in the body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives chosen directly or indirectly by them.." The founding fathers understood that a direct democracy was not practical, however a democratic republic is; and they viewed Government as a necessary evil.
