Generally_Me Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 sacrament meeting and new memberActually, NM does mean New Mexico, I am in a New Mexico ward right now. I wanted to show, after reading the blog, that it wasn't an Arizona ward. :)SM is used all throughout the blog and comments, I am using it as "sacrament meeting" which I presume is how it is being used in the blog. Danite Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Being from Virginia I assumed Thanks for clarifying it for me, I'm still learning this process Quote
Moksha Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 (edited) And beefche made a good point when she clarified the context of "SM" referring to Sacrament meeting, and not to something else. Although the something else SM could denote a most unusual ward.Perhaps one in Orange County*.:)*Moksha, for your information, anything done on a yacht, stays on the yacht. Guest JoshDwellington Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 haha, that blog is so fun !! In my ward, there's this african guy who was baptized 3 years ago, but was never allowed to even get to the pulpit : _ he's a stoner and proud of it _ alcoholic too _ has pics of jesus christ on his wall, b/w 2 pics of porn _ is basically insane He tried to walk up to the pulpit and some priesthood holders stopped him : he then started to yell " NO ONE WILL EVER STOP ME, NO OOOONE !! I HAVE SEEN JESUS CHRIST IN THE CLOUDS, WHY DON'T YOU BELIEVE ME !!" but we also had that lady who during a testimony spoke an unintelligible language and raised her arms in the air and started shaking : she was taken out by force LOL (lots of young kids in my ward, no need to let them see this) Quote
