Maxel
Has anyone seen the old western TV series 'Branded'? It stars Chuck Connors, from 'Rifleman'. My mom and I are watching the entire series this summer, and it is AWESOME! Anyone else a fan?

Prediction: Ben Raines will be the next one to post. Just a guess.

Iggy
Has anyone seen the old western TV series 'Branded'? It stars Chuck Connors, from 'Rifleman'. My mom and I are watching the entire series this summer, and it is AWESOME!Anyone else a fan? Yep, I liked that series too. Along with Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Pallidin, etc. Note: I'm just a wee bit older than Ben Raines and a wee bit more older than Pam.
FunkyTown
I don't know nothin' 'bout no series, but what do you do when you're branded - marked as the man who ran. What do you do when you're branded and you know you're a man?
pam
Yep I can see you've never heard of it FT.
Dravin
Just what are you trying to say here young man? It's okay Pam, we all know you were having a dyslexic moment when you put your age up on your profile and you aren't a day over 25.
BenRaines
I think I recall that show on Nicolodian or something like that. Something about a guy with a broken sabre? I never missed it. That and Rifleman. It was sad when Chuck Connors played such a bad role in Roots. Ben Raines

Maxel
Yay for old Westerns! I never liked them growing up, but I'm finding that the simple formula and (usually) clear-cut morals in the ol' Westerns are a nice relief from today's morally gray shows. My mom bought the entire series of Branded and we've been watching it all summer- on disc 3/3 of the second (and last) season. I'm hoping it wraps the story up: McCord gets his name cleared and finds one of those fine young ladies he's been kissing for the whole series to settle down with. pam
A couple of other favorites of mine: The Big Valley and Gunsmoke
Maxel
I hear Gunsmoke is really good, but my mom really wants to rent Rawhide and watch it before I head off to school this semester. She and I love the theme song.

It has so much energy... And everything John Williams touches turns into gold, and he sang backup for it, so... that explains everything.
