She understands that the Office is something to be respected, even if you disagree with the person. I guess those years of being married into the Bush family has taught her that being President is not an easy job at all.

Is it really disrespectful of the Office to suggest that this decision could be perceived as tacky? "Mr. President, thank you for your concern for the school children. But, this could be misunderstood..." BTW, I pray for President Obama every day, that God will use him to protect our land, and even the church.

Yes...she is a lady of TRUE class. Awesome first lady......probably not newly proud of her country for the first time.

If he wants to talk to the kids... fine. Making a lesson plan for the teachers to teach afterwards asking the students how they can "help the President"... no so much. And THAT was the issue. Was the speech he ended up giving the speech orginally planned? Like how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Toostie Pop... "The world may never know."
