How Did You Celebrate Your 1Yr Anniversary?

We made it! Yesterday, Saturday, was our one year anniversary :]

We kept our special occasion pretty simple. In the morning we exchanged anniversary cards and then went downtown for a lovely brunch at an Italian restaurant. Then we came back home and got ready to hit the off-leash dog park. We have three dogs, a chihuahua and two French bulldogs. So all of us piled into the truck and headed out for an afternoon nature walk. It was very scenic and peaceful. Then we came home, kicked back, ate leftovers from brunch and watched a couple rented movies.

I don't recall. Good idea keeping it inexpensive with the gifts. I don't know were you find the list but i don't think you hit gold until about 15 years or so iirc.

Used to think it was to odd until you consider birthdays, Christmas, Valentines day and when you add kids:eek: You start out with expensive jewelry now you'll need a Porsche at 20;)

Friday was our 27th Anniversary. I can no longer remember our first lol There would of been cards, a nice meal and maybe a little present...but my mind has forgotten the details.

That was almost 23 years ago but I remember it well. I was 8 months pregnant so we got up and ate the top of our wedding cake for breakfast! (It had been frozen for a year . . . not the best but very sentimental.) Then we went out and bought a crib, changing table and stroller! Hahahaha!!

I don't remember it at all. Our son was probably about 3 months old which means I was a total zombie, and that what ever we did, he went with us.

Our Fifth anniversary was awesome. We drove up to the mountains to this scenic spot and he set up a picnic table with my favorite food, sparkling cider and a dessert, it was really nice.

Tomorrow is our anniversary. We actually went out this weekend already to a new restaurant. I think tomorrow I'll surprise him with a 'mini' date to ice cream or something... just a little bit of one on one time.

We got each other presents, I got him a battle axe and he got me a war hammer. For us those were awesome gifts! We have expanded our weapon collection since then. I think we had dinner together, I am sure he got me flowers, he always does. And I am certain that we had a great night together.
