LDSgirl Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 On Friday two rockets that NASA has launched will hit the moon. The first rocket's mission is to blast a cloud of dust and debris from the surface on impact. The second rocket will follow behind and send back pictures to the Earth. The purpose is to help scientist to determine if there is ice or water below the surface. It will cost about 79 million dollars for this mission. The Buzz Log - NASA Attacks the Moon - Yahoo! Moksha Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 I wonder what effect this bombing will have on the Moon Quakers that Brigham Young described? Quote

Hemidakota Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 Or can be reminded of the movie, 'TIME MACHINE' [second version], which caused havoc for the earth when a construction company nuke the moon and blew apart the moon. Quote
talisyn Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 Here's a great video of the moon, for those of us who want to remember what she was like before getting brutally assaulted. Quote
trulykiwi Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Didn't they land on the moon once? Why don't they do it again? I'm sure technology is way more advanced than it was when they walked on the moon. Why don't they just land on it and go for a stroll and look for water? ....or maybe President Brigham Young saying that man will never land on the moon maybe had some substance and we are all deceived?LOL Quote
Mahone Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 (edited) Didn't they land on the moon once? Why don't they do it again?Actually men have been to the moon six times now already I saw "the bombing" happen live... it wasn't very visually interesting really.
