This is either gonna make EVERYONE go hit the add friend button on your page or... its gonna make you come across as a witchity-witch that people may assume is unfriendly. Im giving you the benefit of the doubt and starting a campaign to have each and every member request you as a friend. (((( HUGS))))) Quote

Guest Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Music. When I go on a site, I don't want to have to scramble for the mute button! Default it to no music and have the button up there to add the music if you want it. This should be written into the United States Constitution. Quote
annamaureen Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I don't like it when people that I went to high school with, but never spoke to, try to add me on Facebook. This happens all the time and I rarely add them back. We weren't even acquaintances back then, why do you want to add me now? I also dislike it when someone adds you (or accepts your friend request) then you try to talk with them, ask how they're doing on their Wall, etc, and they ignore you. Why did you even add me if you're not interested in communicating? Quote

Wisc Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 (edited) · Hidden Hidden Threads where people do nothing but complain about what they dislike. PS Just thought I'd point out my amusement that we can allow a thread of pure negativity (tell me all the things you dislike about the internet) on here but if someone posts a light hearted thread about making friends THAT thread is removed. Just a simple observation. Edited March 29, 2010 by Wisc

Wisc Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 · Hidden Hidden Probably had something to do with the "personal nature" thingy.3. Personal attacks, name calling, flaming, and judgments against other members will not be tolerated. My thread met none of the above criteria. The only thing I could find in the subclauses that MIGHT be stretched and bent into validating the deletion of my thread is the following... 7. Content/Activity Prohibited. The following is a partial list of the kind of Content that is illegal or prohibited to post on or through the LDS.NET Services. LDS.NET reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in LDS.NET's sole discretion, violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending communication from the LDS.NET Services and terminating the Membership of such violators. Prohibited Content includes, but is not limited to Content that, in the sole discretion of LDS.NET: 1. 2. harasses or advocates harassment of another person; So, I sent an apology to the person of interest just on the chance that my obviously light hearted thread about everyone requesting to be their friend was taken as harassment or the advocation thereof. But, having said that I think I'll go post a new thread. PS Love the site, love the people.

Lbybug Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 I hate when I get on facebook, find family members like cousins or aunts and they don't accept the friend request. I guess I know where I rate i pick and choose which of my family i have on my facebook. i've had 2 family members (an aunt and a cousin) who freaked out on me for something i said on facebook (both different occassions). i'm 29 years old. i'm not on facebook so everything i do can be scrutinized by family....so there's some i just choose not to have on there because i know what will happen at the next family get-together.
