What do you find annoying on internet sites?

Guessing that people don't actually read your page before they hit the friend request button! Grrrr some people frustrate me... anyhoo, just thought I'd share that with you.

This is either gonna make EVERYONE go hit the add friend button on your page or... its gonna make you come across as a witchity-witch that people may assume is unfriendly.

Im giving you the benefit of the doubt and starting a campaign to have each and every member request you as a friend. ^_^ (((( HUGS)))))

friends requests from friends of friends.

i got a request on facebook today from a friend of a friend. i can't decide if the lady is the ex-wife of my friend, or if they're just friends....odd.

anyways, i'm with Ma on the txt spk too. use your vowels, even if you are a teen.

and i'm with marts too....after about 5 sentences in a post i lose interest.

Music.

When I go on a site, I don't want to have to scramble for the mute button! Default it to no music and have the button up there to add the music if you want it. This should be written into the United States Constitution.

I don't like it when people that I went to high school with, but never spoke to, try to add me on Facebook. This happens all the time and I rarely add them back. We weren't even acquaintances back then, why do you want to add me now?

I also dislike it when someone adds you (or accepts your friend request) then you try to talk with them, ask how they're doing on their Wall, etc, and they ignore you. Why did you even add me if you're not interested in communicating?

:guilty: But i only check facebook once a month or so anything people say is buried in page after page, after page after page, of them talking to their other friends and their friends responses.

I don't care that my friend Jess commented on Hucks' (whom i do not know) picture

I'm sure these people think its a status thing.

Threads where people do nothing but complain about what they dislike. ^_^

PS Just thought I'd point out my amusement that we can allow a thread of pure negativity (tell me all the things you dislike about the internet) on here but if someone posts a light hearted thread about making friends THAT thread is removed. Just a simple observation.

Probably had something to do with the "personal nature" thingy.

3. Personal attacks, name calling, flaming, and judgments against other members will not be tolerated.

My thread met none of the above criteria.

The only thing I could find in the subclauses that MIGHT be stretched and bent into validating the deletion of my thread is the following...

7. Content/Activity Prohibited. The following is a partial list of the kind of Content that is illegal or prohibited to post on or through the LDS.NET Services. LDS.NET reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in LDS.NET's sole discretion, violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending communication from the LDS.NET Services and terminating the Membership of such violators. Prohibited Content includes, but is not limited to Content that, in the sole discretion of LDS.NET:

1.

2. harasses or advocates harassment of another person;

So, I sent an apology to the person of interest just on the chance that my obviously light hearted thread about everyone requesting to be their friend was taken as harassment or the advocation thereof.

But, having said that I think I'll go post a new thread. ^_^

PS Love the site, love the people.

Do you normally have your volume level WAY up or what? Regardless, my music is no longer starting automatically (I know you visit my page SO often). ;)

A wild guess: Daenvgiell's picture saves them a thousand words. ;)

I hate when I get on facebook, find family members like cousins or aunts and they don't accept the friend request. I guess I know where I rate :P

i pick and choose which of my family i have on my facebook. i've had 2 family members (an aunt and a cousin) who freaked out on me for something i said on facebook (both different occassions). i'm 29 years old. i'm not on facebook so everything i do can be scrutinized by family....so there's some i just choose not to have on there because i know what will happen at the next family get-together.
