john doe Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 So far, what has been your favorite conference talk? I was impressed by both President Eyring's and Elder Ballard's. Great messages, and the spirit was felt. Sister Beck also gave a great talk. Quote

Guest mirancs8 Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 Sister Beck and Elder Holland. Sister Beck's entire speech was awesome. When Elder Holland started talking my eyes immediately filled with tears. Since this was a big part of my ex's issues (porn and prostitutes). Just going through what I have gone through over the years it really hit me to hear him talk about it. Quote

The reason is to get men and their sons to actually watch it rather then using this weekend as a weekend off and saying they'll read it in the Ensign later. My favorite talk, President Uchdorf's from the Priesthood session - it was apparntly directed directly at me Quote

pam Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 That's why it's called the Priesthood Session. It's for the Priesthood members. Probably the same reason they don't broadcast publically on tv the Relief Society session either. The talks are designed to address the issues to each organization. Not usually meant as a broadcast to the entire world. We are blessed to have them in the Ensign when the conference issue comes out. Quote

I'm pretty sure I've watched the RS session online before. Quote

You are probably right. I've just never seen it online as they usually have us going to our Stake Center to watch it. Quote
James_Fryman Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 I think Elder Hollands talk was the best so far, due to personal issues it really struck a chord with me. Quote
