Dr T Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Yeah, I agree, it does add something to the game. I also know that if we take out the human error piece then it changes things dramatically. I still think it's a good idea. Quote
Maureen Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 ...Goal line technology is clever, and generally is quite hard to argue with the evidence it provides, however one counter argument is that debating potential refereeing mistakes is a large part of football, and adds a lot of fun into the game. People do generally enjoy arguing. There may be flaws in the rules which can potentially make the game unfair for everyone, but that's part of the fun. I doubt England would agree with you since their goal was denied them.M. Quote
Mahone Posted June 30, 2010 Author Report Posted June 30, 2010 I doubt England would agree with you since their goal was denied them.M.Last time I checked, I too held British citizenship and lived in England Of course tensions regarding the subject will be high at the moment, as we have just been disadvantaged due to the lack of this technology being implemented, so many people will be biased right now. I'm sure Germany on the other hand are perfectly happy without this technology. Plus, it gives us something to blame other than how badly we played during the match Quote
