coyotemoon722 Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Elder Walter F. González of the Presidency of the Seventy wrote a talk on receiving prompting and revelation from prophets and the Holy Spirit. I really enjoyed the article and feel it is helpful to condition us to be better listeners to our Father in Heaven. If you haven't given it a read yet, I'd strongly suggest it. Quote
Still_Small_Voice Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Can you post a link to the talk given by Elder Walter F. González? Quote
coyotemoon722 Posted August 8, 2010 Author Report Posted August 8, 2010 I looked on LDS.org and couldn't find it. I'm not very familiar with how to use the site, but it only had links to the major articles. If someone else knows where it is, then that would help. Quote

Hemidakota Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 Excellent article... After reading the part about Samuel responding to the voice in the night, thinking it was the Priest Eli, it was resounding of my wife called me on the cell phone to ensure I was still breathing (alive). She thought as she was in the living room, heard my voice calling to her. :) I figure after the second time, the Priest Eli would of caught the intent of the Spirit but it took three times for him to understand what was transpiring for the child. coyotemoon722 Posted August 10, 2010 Author Report Posted August 10, 2010 Wow I'm sorry, I think I forgot to mention it's in the August Ensign. That would help! XD Quote
