I tell ppl that less than 24 hours notice is unreasonable unless it is an emergency. They can call and ask to come by with less notice but I may say no or not invite them in, we can talk on the porch. lol

Me too, mostly. I was baptized last year. You should actually be getting somewhat regular visits from different people/leaders who will want to get to know you and make sure you're transition into the ward is going good for you. You may not, but if your RS president and one her counselors is visiting it sounds like you've got good people around you.

So how new are you?

RS Presidencies do make routine visits to get out to know the sisters in their ward. Nothing unusual about it.

It should not be unusual - but it is, more often than not.

RS Presidency regularly visit sisters in order to get to know them better ... especially when the presidency is just new. They also do visits to ask sisters to be visiting teachers, and when they do yearly VT interviews with each VT. These are in addition to the regular visiting teaching visits. Visits will also be done if a report has come in that compassionate service is needed. Sometimes the visits are as a direct response to listening to the Spirit in regard to their calling. They may not know why they are there just that Spirit directed them to go.
