The Backyardigans

I and my wife LOVE this show my son has watched for the past year, we get DVDs from the local library. It is like a small 20 min musical and we try and guess the music style and then look up the episode on wikipedia site to see who guessed it.

I and my wife laugh at the spoofs taken off of other shows (Super Secret Super Spy=James Bond Garbage Trek=Star Trek). My son keeps wondering why we think it is so funny having never seen the other shows they spoof.

Anyway anybody else have fun watching certian kids shows?

Never seen or heard of The Backyardigans, but it sounds funny. The Wikipedia writeup is interesting.

Speaking of kiddie shows, when I pass through while my kids are watching TV, I have found myself watching, and laughing at, Fairly Oddparents. I also discovered Avatar late last year or early this year and was surprised at how much I liked it.

We're Phineaus and Ferb fans in our house. DH and I often watch an episode together after the kids are in bed. :)

I like Backyardigans.

I liked blue's clues with Joe better than Steve. I thought Joe was cute. lol

My kids have been into Ben 10 lately. It's better than others they could watch.

Avatar rocked our house for most of 2009. I have a collection of works of art made by our 5-6 year old during sacrament meeting showing various ways poor fire-bender daddy was getting his comeuppance by water Mamma, earth sister, and air sister.

Yeah, I have to admit that we still watch the Backyardigans, even though our kids are 10 and 7 now. Yes indeed, Phineas and Ferb too. Both provide creativity and unique execution you just don't get anywhere else.

Now I've got "Eureka" stuck in my head. Thanks a lot.

We don't watch it regularly but yes Phineas and Ferb is a fun show for us to watch when we run across it on Disney.

My kids are addicted to Avatar: The Last Airbender cartoon. They watch it almost every day. It is a really good show, but the movie version left a lot to be desired.
