Just_A_Guy Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Postum. Coming soon to a grocery store near you. Quote
classylady Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 I used to love Postum as a kid. Of course, that might be because I loaded it up with lots of brown sugar and milk. Quote
Guest Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Woohoo!! Just in time for. . . summer. (Edit: my mistake, it's coming out this Winter.) Quote
Iggy Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Yuck! As one who was raised on coffee, Postum is such a yucky & expensive substitute. Pero is much more like coffee- not fresh ground, but instant. And way cheaper. Quote
Guest DeborahC Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 I recently discovered "golden milk" which is hot milk mixed with turmeric PASTE, honey, pepper, cinnamon, and cardamom. It was what broke my coffee habit. It has also helped a LOT with inflammation and arthritis symptoms. I'm in love with it now... YUM! If anyone wants the recipe, let me know Quote
Captain_Curmudgeon Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 So, anyone but me get turned in to the BYU Honor System for drinking Postum? It was the coffee flavored, but, really. Quote

applepansy Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 One person's spiritual reprieve is another's abomination. In my mind there's nothing spiritual about it... all physical. I miss the taste of Postum and I will probably be disappointed because I developed a taste for it with my paternal Grandmother who passed away several decades ago. Quote
