classylady
I used to love Postum as a kid. Of course, that might be because I loaded it up with lots of brown sugar and milk.

Iggy
Yuck! As one who was raised on coffee, Postum is such a yucky & expensive substitute. Pero is much more like coffee- not fresh ground, but instant. And way cheaper.
Guest DeborahC
I recently discovered "golden milk" which is hot milk mixed with turmeric PASTE, honey, pepper, cinnamon, and cardamom. It was what broke my coffee habit. It has also helped a LOT with inflammation and arthritis symptoms. I'm in love with it now... YUM! If anyone wants the recipe, let me know
Captain_Curmudgeon
So, anyone but me get turned in to the BYU Honor System for drinking Postum? It was the coffee flavored, but, really.

applepansy
One person's spiritual reprieve is another's abomination. In my mind there's nothing spiritual about it... all physical. I miss the taste of Postum and I will probably be disappointed because I developed a taste for it with my paternal Grandmother who passed away several decades ago.
