Open house, dedication announced for Brigham City LDS temple | ksl.com

SALT LAKE CITY -- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced open house and dedication dates for the Brigham City Utah Temple.

The public is invited to visit the temple during an open house from Saturday, Aug. 18 until Saturday, Sept. 15, excluding Sundays and Saturday,, Sept. 8.

I'm excited too. I'm closer to Brigham City than to Bountiful.

I used to attend the Ogden Temple until they closed it and stripped it down. I don't know why I haven't attended the Logan Temple as it is about the same distance. Logan is a whole different world. :rolleyes:

Its been years since I had children to take to a Temple Open House. I wasn't able to find anything online about ages etc. They used to have days when families could go. Do they still have family days without restriction on age? Or is there an age restriction?

I just don't have the schedule to attend the open house, but yesterday a guy came into the office who apparently is pretty high up in the open house volunteering. He was trying to convince my Presbyterian co-worker to go "outside of the open house time." He had connections, he'd get her in.

Sort of made me jealous.
