Misshalfway
I've tried to watch "The Notebook." I've tried to watch it many times. Everyone tells me I need to watch it. That I'll be in tears. That its THE love story of our age! I tried! I really tried. But it makes me want to barf ...and then eye roll...and then barf again. Does this mean I'm no longer invited to Relief Society? Jenamarie
That's been my experience with just about every "chick flick" out there. You and me can start our own less-sappy Relief Society auxiliary.
Guest
I'm a big crybaby sap, and I really didn't get this one. It made me more eye-rolly than eye-watery.
Bini
I loved it. I cried and cried, especially at the end. Maybe I'm the one that wouldn't fit into Relief Society..
Wingnut
Does this mean I'm no longer invited to Relief Society?Strangely, I've heard a lot of MEN say they really like this movie. So maybe you just don't fit into Elders Quorum.I enjoy the "twist" at the end (that you see coming from the beginning), and I get a teary at it, but I don't love the movie. I don't feel compelled to watch it over and over again. I think I've seen it twice.

Maureen
I never did like the Rachel McAdam's character. It was an okay movie, not a movie I would watch again and again. M.
