Hotels did it when my parents checked us in.Remember when Troll Dolls were super popular? When smoking was allowed on commercial airlines? I remember being a little kid and finding ash in arm ashtrays.. Quote

Guest Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Remember when girls wore studded boleros? How about black lace gloves with cut fingers and 50 colored bangles running up one arm? Oh, embroidered jean jackets! And acid wash jeans that were poofy on the thighs and snug on the ankles... And who can forget big hair? Man, this thread is bad. I'm getting reminiscent. LOL. Quote

seeking_peace Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Bini, You do NOT remember when cigarette ads were aired on TV. They banned that whe I was a child in the 60's. Quote
seeking_peace Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Do you remember when people tried really hard to hide their underwear? If your boxers showed above your jeans, or your bra strap slipped outside of your blouse, it was a mistake. Someone would quietly point it out and you would adjust your outerwear. Quote
