I'm having a total brain malfunction tonight and I want to make sure I'm giving someone the correct information.

This is the scenario. A girl wants to be sealed to her parents. Her father passed away without ever being baptized. Her mother is a member and of course was never sealed to her father.

Can the mother be sealed to the father once his ordinances are done by proxy? And then can the daughter be sealed to both parents?

So does the mother and the daughter then have to be temple worthy to attend the temple to have this work done? Sorry..not meaning to sound really dumb about this tonight..just really tired and someone is asking me the questions on another site.

The mother needs to have a temple recommend. All of the work needs to be done for the deceased father. I think that the girl doesn't need to have her endowments. Children of all ages are sealed to parents. My little sisters children were sealed to her and hubby when they were 2 yrs up to 9 yrs old. Sister and Hubby were endowed and then sealed together and to the children.

If daughter is adult needs to have own endowment to be sealed to parents, I believe. If daughter is a minor then only mother needs to be endowed and have a recommend.

Mother is then sealed to deceased father, once his ordinances have been done. Then someone will stand-in as proxy for father to be sealed to mother in sealing room. Then daughter will be brought in and sealed to already sealed parents.
