Dr T Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 THank you Pammy. Being a single mother is not easy. Respect to you. :) Quote
Outshined Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Okay, this is how ours went: I got up early and made breakfast for my wife (eggs, bacon, toast, and a big glass of milk) and the kids and I served it to her in bed. We gave her her cards and left her to eat in peace while we fed the animals and got the house straight. After Church, I put her in a hammock in the back yard, and put the steaks I'd had marinating since Saturday on the grill. We also fixed homemade rolls, mashed potatoes, and chocolate cake. My wife takes care of herself; she runs with me every day, works out, and watches what she eats. Mother's Day is not the day for that; she ate like a queen and lay around snoozing in the shade all afternoon... I'd rule it a success. Quote
