StosRob Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 My cat loves me only when she is hungry, but my dog loves me all of the time. I also feel safer with my dog around. My cat runs when people come over. My dog stays by my side to make sure everything is o.k. Quote
miztrniceguy Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 we have 2 cats...sisters...the almost all black one is mine, the black and white one that meows continually is my wifes. my cat often sits behind me on the back of the couch and nuzzles my hair. also sleeps in the crook of my arm if i am on my back, or in front of me if i'm on my side. if my wife is in bed too then the cat sleeps by my head, after she gives up trying to wedge her way between my wife and i. and both our cats will gladly roll over for belly rubs Quote

sixpacktr Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 I do have to add this though. My dog is a truly a mutt: the owners of her mother found the mother when she was pregnant, and since the mother was a mutt, we really have no clue what our dog is. Only that she absolutely hates water. So, of course, we put her in the pool! She foundered around, acting like a huge spaz, almost like she was going to drown. Put the cat on a raft and he DIVED into the pool, swam as calm as can be, got out and his head AND tail were completely dry (he swam with his tail sticking straight up in the air!). So of course I put him in again, only this time I dumped him in. He still swam with a real regalness (sp??) about him, but since his head went under he was MAD! I then understood "madder than a wet cat"! I hate him. I really do. But he is "cool". Quote
susieSA Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 My step mother's dog starts "swimming" when she gets a few cms away from the water... Sooo funny to watch She also snores in her sleep.... And acts like a real madam.. She has also been known to "run" in her sleep... I am only guessing that at those times she is "chasing" a cat.. That she also loooves doing.. But she is also rather doff... A real personality on her... Quote
Dr T Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 That is a cool dancing dog. I've had 3 dogs since I've been married. Not good outcomes... Quote
