I'll say it again, I love E-Bay, not only have I made money on E-bay but I love shopping on it as well.

My hubby and I have traveled allot this last year as some of you know.

One of the things we love to do is listen to audio books while on long drives.

We stick with LDS Books and Authors. I highly recommend this, it makes the drive seem less long and you get so much out of it. The only draw back is the cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Starting new around 25.00 to $45.00 dollars, Ouch!

So while poking around on E-bay this last weekend I found a sellers selling LDS audio books on CD, I bid and won three. enough to last us the summer I am sure.

Later on I will re sell them for someone else to enjoy.

I like to know what any of the board members use e-bay for? since I never looked for audio books till now I wonder what else I could be missing out on????

I have in the past bought new scriptures on there as well, if anyone is in the market for new ones.

Much cheaper and still in the wrapper, also DVD's and LDS Music.

My daughter used to be a big fan of Boyzone, so a few Xmases ago I spent lots of time, and some cash, buying up pieces of memorabilia and books about the band...she was soo happy to get them! :)

I am a nut when it come to ebay!

After I lost my mom I felt a huge void... I wanted some of her 'treasure' but my dad was not ready to give anything of hers up so I began buying 'stuff'

I have a huge collection of quilt tops

I have a medium collection of cupie dolls

I have a medium collection of silver serving platters

I have a medium to large collection of 'hens on nests'

I really get the most enjoyment from the hens on nests.... they are great fun to look at in my china cupboard.

I buy Lucky You for my daughter.

I just bought me a storage disk for my new camera.

My hubby bought a tile saw locally and we went and picked it up and met a great guy who gave me some rustic yard art that he makes.

I have purchased really nice sheets and bedding as well.

I know I will think of more later :D

I buy and sell on Ebay. It has been a great experience, BUT I went overboard in March of '06 and bought

a Restaurant! It was quite fun but soon tired of that and closed it the first of May. I sold some of the equipment from there on ebay.

Now I buy and sell produce. Much more income from that and a lot less stress.

my wife bought a motercycle on ebay about 7 yrs ago (2 yrs before we met). a 1983 Yamaha Virago 920.

i rode it a couple of years. About 2 years ago we donated it to "Cars for Christmas" The guy who runs the program said it was the first time someone had ever donated a motorcycle to the program!

<div class='quotemain'> in March of '06 and bought a Restaurant! Marsha

How does someone deliver a restaurant? :ahhh:

Elphaba

They don't. I moved to where it was located.

Produce on Ebay, nope don't think you can do that. I do buy from the local growers, just topped buying and selling my 600th dozen ears of corn this morning! Corn has only been in for a couple of weeks here, now off to find yet another field to get.

Tomatoes are plentiful here now too.

Yep love that ebay though.

A lot of those really cheap cds and dvds on ebay are pirated copies from china and elsewhere..

Your right there, I end up with 2 season sets of CSI that were from china and once I received them I know right away they were copies, so I watch were something is coming from before I bid.

They worked fine but I'm a real nut for not buying parated crime. :(

 So then did you go out and buy the 2 season sets of CSI from a store? So you won't be watching pirated stuff? So the copyright holders get their royalties?

Just wondering. . . .

No but they are dusty in the back of the CD shelf

LOL, You need my housekeeper?

and - that's not any worse than recording your own straight off the tv, I don't guess, (I'm - :guilty: ) as far as the royalties go, except somebody somewhere pocketed your money! :redpirate:
