classylady
The Jordan River Temple is the temple where my husband and I were sealed. 30 plus years goes by fast. It seems forever ago, but yet just yesterday. I'm looking forward to see the renovations.
Traveler
Most new temples are designed and built for a different culture of temple attendance. I loved to attend the Jordan River temple when we were in that district. My wife and I would go to an early session and have dinner at the temple cafeteria afterwords. There are much better places to eat but we loved the ambiance and atmosphere (spirit) of the temple. I hope that the cafeteria will remain but I have a feeling that temple culture is moving away form such.
bytebear
I hope they don't change the style of the exterior. It's one of my favorite temples, and where I first did baptims for the dead. It was built when I was a kid, so it was a big deal that I remember well.
