NeedleinA
Dang, no audio for me on the video, and my lip reading skills lead me to believe that Americans are miserable because the lines at Disneyland are ridiculous? Vort
According to this Wikipedia article, eighteen of the top 20 countries listed by suicide rate are what we would consider more or less "third-world", with Communist countries (especially former Soviet countries) very heavily overrepresented. So I'd say we Americans should count our blessings.

Which of the 20 were you considering NOT 3rd world? Which definition are you using? If any of these four countries are considered 3rd world, I'd say every country but the US, Canada, and a few European Countries would qualify. Of course, if you mean the older definition of "non-NATO aligned countries" well, I guess I said that.

We know these things already. It basically says that even though many signs of the economy say things should be good, the problem is that there is a wealth shift more in favor of dividing the rich from the poor and the middle class is shrinking. Yes, this is what happens with increasing socialist policies. And to take 1/5 of the economy and socialize it overnight, yeah, it would have this effect. What I disagree with is that economic conditions alone would cause mental depression. It is the atmosphere and societal environment that tells a man that he cannot get ahead. You must stay where you are. No matter how hard you work, you're never going to amount to anything. This is what socialism does. Guest MormonGator
As much as I love America, I don't like how spoiled we are. Being poor in America beats being rich in many, many other countries. The poor people in America struggle with obesity. The poor in Africa struggle with famine.
