mordorbund Posted June 25, 2016 Report Posted June 25, 2016 In the LDS printing of the Bible, footnote c of Luke 3:38 reads: Quote JST Luke 3:45 … who was formed of God, and the first man upon the earth. I don't know a better online source for the New Translation of the Bible other than what we find in scriptures.lds.org. You can find a number of print version of the Inspired Version through various online retailers. Quote
FogCity Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 when you delve into topics like this (which admittedly is fun to discuss) it sure does emphasize that relying on anything that isn't iron clad scripture is sketchy, and it's better to just resign to the fact that there will a great number of things we will not understand in this life. In some aspects I regret reading and believing many of the publications that are considered "Scriptures-Lite" (Journal of Discourses, Mormon Doctrine, Miracle of Forgiveness, etc). Quote
