What Did We Celebrate In The Pre-earth Life? Did We Have Christmas? An

Well I am looking forward to Christmas so much! I am sure plenty of you are too! At least I hope so! I was thinking about the Pre-Existence or Pre-Earth life, when I suddenly realised. Hay! We wouldn't have had a Christmas back then! (well technically we wouldnt have as Christ hadn't been born). Then I thought about Easter, that wouldn't have been there neither! We must have celebrated some things way back then! So I thought I would post on here and see if anyone had any ideas.

This is just for fun really though, as we will never fully know for sure (yet) what it was we used to celebrate if we did actually celebrate anything at all but hay I bet we did! :P

I'm thinking I'd have celebrated the creation of the mighty little Chihuahua (I love Chihuahua dogs)!

Then I'd have had a really big party for the first CoCoa Pod Tree!!

Maybe we celebrated when the flood finally dried up and the very first rainbow appeared!

 Merry Christmas Everyone!! All your ideas are warmly welcome!

Lots of Love from Kitty x

Since I was not born yet I bet I celebrated the birth of Christ while in the pre-existence. I bet that upon the resurection I too celebrated, Easter. It is purely my opinion that while a spirit in the pre-existence we could have observed those occurences.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

i think we celebrated birthdays, so to speak. can you just imagine the excitement as we prepared to go and receive a body? the good bye's, see ya soon, anticipation to see those that had already come. i guess in the same respect we must have celebrated death the same. we all love homecommings. it's so wonderful to see those that we have been separated from for some time. :)

:hmmm: There are some from whom I'd still like to stay separated for much longer.

I'm not sure how I reacted when the one third was cast out of heaven. The scriptures indicate that I was part of those who "sang for joy". Certainly there was to be sadness to think that one third of Heavenly Father's children lost their chance at salvation. Still there was joy in knowing that we had chosen our Father's plan and had chosen Christ as the redeemer who would provide the Atonement for us.

I wonder if some of us might have a reason to regret much, when the veil is taken from our memory and we realize how anxious we were to get here and all the things we thought that we would do, and then to compare it with what we have actually done.

wow i had never thought about that before. sounds pretty bleak. thats whats great about the plan of salvation though

I know that this is a monumental paradigm shift...believing that before my physical birth, I existed eternally. I'm not sure how that would effect my thinking about where I am today. It's such a dramatic belief, that it may be beyond me to imagine what it means to my mortal existence.

I also think a little bit about those, but I also know that they chose their path. I don't think they were cast out so much as they chose their current state rather than take a chance on failure here. They probably knew or thought they were to weak to make righteous decisions here, so they chose the easy way out, and recieved their reward for it, however small that reward is or will be.
