I do a lot of reading but I don't remember coming across that word -- maybe I just took the meaning in context and kept reading. In my dictionary it has nescience -- absence of knowledge or awareness; ignorance. learning (because I had to get the dictionary out, LOL!) Quote

My wife and my 13-year daughter [who writes books], are worst than me at times in throwing out new words I never heard before. In my office I do keep Webster Dictionary – 2 and use it when I receive either e-mails from home or a telephone conversion. It helps me though when I am not very proficient with English grammar.
