Old church magazines

I have a collection of old Church magazines that I'm offering access to anyone who wants it.  I have every magazine ever published by the Church that is available on PDF since its inception.  I also have a couple of hundred out-of-print books, publications, and tracts.  My treasure trove comes to more than 9600 magazines, books, and tracts.  It took me 7 years to find all of it and I add to it occasionally.  It is the only collection of its kind in one place in the world.  You can get various parts from different websites, but I've got all of it in one place.  On several different subjects, I've gone through all of it several times.  If you're interested in accessing it, click on this link.

I don't know how long this will be up as money is getting tight.  I recommend that you download all of it, but you'll need about 88gb of space on your hard drive.

Oh wow.  Is this a semi-permanent link?  I'm tempted to go buy another external hard drive to go download all of it.   Pretty dang amazing library collection you've got there.

You should contact the Salt Lake City brethren and suggest this be added to their archive and online library.

Actually, the Church has most of these in physical form.  What they did was give some to BYU to digitize and some to Archive.org to digitize.  Then there are others scattered around the internet.  The Joseph Smith Papers website also has some.  Some genius at BYU decided that when they digitized the Millennial Star, to make a PDF of each article contained in each magazine.  I had to download about 30 files for each magazine, pick the files with consecutive page numbers, delete the extras, and then merge all the files into one magazine.  I had to do this hundreds of times and it took anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour to do one magazine.  The Millennial Star has more than 1600 magazines, so it took a while.  What is not available on PDF are the Ensign magazines from 1971 to 2000.
