Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I have already shared my testimony and hope to be able to contribute further to this wonderful board. I suspect I can learn much as well from what I've seen thus far.

Although my life has been full at times, of overwhelming trials, my blessings far outweigh them. And I know finding this site, thanks to LoudMouthMormon, is another blessing.

Since this is the place to introduce ourselves I guess I can add a few things here to give you an idea of who I am.... If you read my testimony you might understand that I have a special love for Joseph Smith. Heavenly Father not only sent Joseph to me, in 2003 He led a relative of Joseph's to me and I am writing this from his home. His name is Rhett and his ggg-grandfather, Truman O. Angell, was the architect of the Salt Lake temple, St. George temple, and many other church buildings...Truman's sister was married to Brigham Young... You may wonder why I am telling you this. I do so because I am priviledged to see so much from the inside, concerning this church. One thing I've learned is that the faith that motivated the pioneers to endure such persecution and hardships was given to them from Father in Heaven. It took the strength of heaven sent faith and it would not have been possible to see them through solely on the words of mere mortal man. This also has taught me, as Father Himself has taught me, that He will give all of us whatever we need to endure. From my own personal experiences, I KNOW, Father and Christ greatly desire a very intimate and personal relationship with each of us. And we are the only ones that will limit how much we receive from Them. They want to give us all we can assimilate. In a world so full of noise, with iPODS, cell phones, etc., wired directly into our brains, it's easy to miss what we would otherwise hear from Father.

When we were still in our heavenly home, we promised each other that we'd do all within our power to help each other return home. We did not care if we'd be rich or poor, black or white, brilliant or simple minded. And when I think about those promises and knowing that the person that on earth who bugs me might have been one of my dearest heavenly friends, I tend to get very protective of those who enter my life. And that is what motivates me, even though, because of the abuses I've suffered that made me social phobic, I still do my best to reach out and try to emulate the love I have received from Father and Christ, so we can all return home safely together. I don't need to see your face or know your name to love you with all my heart. We are a part of one another, the better part which connects us to a sweet, tender, awesome, Father in heaven and Christ. In places like this board we can reach out and hold each other up...That's magic, that's the best high one can get on this planet...

I thank you again for making me feel so welcome....

Cindy
