  1. I want the possible0wrong doer to know that it is possible that someone may be armed, not necessarily who.
  2. I talk to people every once in a while who believe very strongly that it is religious people who are responsible for all the worlds ills. Many say in one way or another. If they (religious people) would only just disappear in what many call a "Rapture" or if not maybe something more extreme will someday have to be carried out. "Not all (religions) of them, just some of them. Without religion there would be no one claiming the true way of God and shoving it in everyone's faces. It would force secularity, something that desperately needs to happen. It would take away a certain area of discrimination. Of course the world will still be messed up and humanity lost but it would be a start." The dream is this "Imagine there's no Heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace " I have had many say that is the only way to peace. Kill all religious people. Many Christians are considered "religious".
  3. As I read through these postings I feel that Hair style is the least of this teens problems. He repeatedly states that he is 15 as if that is some kind of license. If he is indeed 15 years old he is 3 long years from being considered emancipated from being under his parents responsibility. 3 long years to grow away from his crutch of being only 15yo. I am trying to look back to when I was 15. How did I take the advice of older men. Did I take it with the distrust and paranoia that this young man exhibits? Or did I relish it and use it as some kind of secret esoteric gift for my benefit? I wish I had don the latter more.
  4. I believe the time is soon upon us that the man who pulls a gun on you at Church is not out to rob you. He is pulling the weapon because you are a Christian.
  5. Not worried today about the "King of England". Perhaps another day?
  6. It is amazing (and comforting) to find out how much "heat" is carried at Church:cool:
  7. Not only a death warning but even a death wish that I do burn in Hell. Nice people out there,
  8. I do not believe he wants forgiveness. Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. Luke 17:4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. Does this fit Lucifer's profile?
  9. 1 Corinthians 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 1 Corinthians 15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 1 Corinthians 15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 1 Corinthians 15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 1 Corinthians 15:39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 1 Corinthians 15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 1 Corinthians 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. Now what we do here will dictate with what body we will be raised in the resurrection and what will be the capabilities of those bodies. If you are raised with a terrestrial body it will be more then difficult to live Celestial eternity.
  10. Again. Still looking for it and cannot fine it.
  11. And I just cannot shake my feelings that have bothered me from the time I read your first post. I think this post of yours adds a lot to the story. Thanks for that. You DID say you are a new convert. Right?
  12. I hope I say this even half right in the way I mean it. Mary the mother of the Son of God could not have stood the presence of the Father without the protection of the Holy Ghost yet the Son of God became the only begotten of the Father. Joseph Smith was protected and saw the Father with his spiritual still the job got done:cool:
  13. Brigham Young completed the Job the Lord had for him to do. I Thank the Lord for Brigham Young, Prophet of God.
  14. I think a few of us still have been checking it out. Some of us must still be interested at least a little;)
  15. I think the saying "Ya can't teach an old dog new tricks" has anew d meaning for me these days. Back when I was searching for knowledge in the beginning I soaked it up like I was a sponge and many of those things I soaked up is still with me today. Somebody like you comes along and tried to give me more light on a subject and I have to read it several times and I still say "Huh?". You all have given me much to chew on here and maybe I will figure it out:huh: Thanks:cool:
  16. I have many of Brother Skousen's books on my shelf yet cannot say I base my beliefs on them but I do agree with most of what he had written. Yes, he is relating the conditions of the Atonement as I understand it and I remember way back when I read the 2nd Thousand Years back in 1968 (or was it 69?) that I was so excited as he was confirming much of what I already believed. Yes, I do feel good about most of what he wrote.
  17. John 11:39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. John 11:40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? I do not believe God would pull a slight-of-hand trick on these people to make them think he could restore the dead.
  18. I have ran into those (not too many but they are out there) who say. "I believe in God, I just hate Him." The rest of the comments go from there into things I cringe to write down. Would they bow to Him? Most say no but some acknowledge they they might if it comes that there is no other way to go. But I think and they know they are still in rebellion. My children have said I am right and just but still harbored rebellion of the situation in their hearts.
  19. Then we have the Mayan Calender thingy:cool:
  20. Maybe nest time? Back to work and pray that we are not.
  21. That is what frustrates me a little. So many looking for the Anti-Christ when there are so many amongst us in out schools of lefter learning and in our government institutions around the world.
  22. Right. I think that is what they believe also and in a way so do I. They take it to the next step in that direction. I try but do not boast to others about it and it is not my place to warn. That is the prophet's job. I would most likely be wrong just like these other birds. But they think that lacking that Gift of the HG bbefore kept man from knowing. The reasoning goes, later, having received the HG, . . . Now having bestowed on them a bit of the power of the Father, now they can know if they seek it out.
  23. The formatting did not quite work out here (above) but you can see what I tried to do.
  24. This is how many think they can do it. Acts 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. Now that was spoken to them in the natural. Before the Holy Ghost became a constant companion to them. Acts 1:8 [b]But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. So they feel that they have this same power they think they read about here.
