A week out, how many are expecting a white Christmas? Anyone in the eastern third of the United States has a pretty good chance. We live at the western edge of the latest snow storm and we've got 4-5 inches right now. We're expecting it to continue through Monday with temperatures to keep it from melting. We need a good amount on our roof to hold the sleigh. We put on a new metal roof this summer. Wouldn't want to old fella to slip. How's the outlook where you live??

I think women are more sensitive about being touched by men, with good reason, than the other way around. I know I would be upset if I saw a another man put his paws on my wife. Even if it was just her arm. On the other hand, we went to a get together of several people I went to high school with and hadn't seen for over 40 years. The woman standing behind me in the picture put her hand on my shoulder. My wife never even mentioned it.

I can't believe my Bengals are in the mix FINALLY. Two games ahead of both Pittsburgh and Baltimore. Last year at this time they were 1-9-1.

Texas almost blew it.

Where I live everyone talks that way. I've been called "hun" by both young women and older women. Of course, most women older than me are in rest homes. It doesn't bother me. If you jump on someone for it, they'll probably have another name for you when you're not around.:)

Evidently,"test driving " a partner must not work to well. The stats I see show the divorce rate higher among those that lived together before marriage than those that didn't. Must be some poor drivers out there.

I don't really see anything wrong with living together before marriage. My mom and dad and I lived together before I got married.

A real tree is cost effective for us since we have about 500 out in our fields. Most are White Pine. My daughter comes and cuts one every year also. So, unless I live over 200 more years I should be OK.

Rather than put them all on at once, I think it would be better to spread them out to cover the entire season. See who can get the the first group the quickest. It's that time of year again. For the next 25 days Christmas music will be everywhere. What do you look forward to hearing? I make a distinction between Christmas Carols and Christmas songs. My favorite carol in "What Child Is This". My favorite song is a toss-up between "White Christmas" or "Silver Bells".
