My husbands brother is now divorced and he lives in the Salt Lake area. He is 31 and he has three children. He is really a great looking guy and he won't be single for long. I have never written anything like this before but I would like him to have someone really special in his life. If you know someone that needs a great guy this could be him.

If I were you, I would try to find out more about his condition, maybe it isn't as bad as he thinks it is, he is so young. I am sure he is afraid and even your friendship would be a great support to him. Is it possible for you to talk with his mom without him?

You didn't answer my question about how you know that Amillia is Peace. To me Amillia seems like a pretty new member to LDSTalk. She may have felt that Spencer was just trying to make her look stupid and most of us would be offended by that. This site with the name LDSTalk represents a handful of its finest members (hopefully) , or at least people with compassion and understanding. I could feel that Spencer was saying his comment "with tongue in cheek¡É but another newer member may not. Not everything that is said and meant to be funny comes across as humor to the receiver. I would agree that Amillia seemed to have some anger in some of her replies but everyone gets angry at times and once the words are out they can't be "reeled back in". In a message board I think that it is best to cut other¡Çs some slack and that goes both ways.

I know what you mean, I was kind of put out when it asked for my email and zip. I think that the zip is a good way to determine where the market is at and how the word is traveling. I am pretty easily entertained and I do feel that the time was well spent seeing it with my family. Many people who have seen the movie here in Utah are already talking about the next movie. I have not read the books, but I have been told that this movie only covers books one and two. I think that there might be nine or ten?

At my husbands work they were collecting money in a basket. The owner cast the first $20 in and then said what ever was raised the company would double.I think that then giving the money to the church or the Red Cross would be a great thing to do.

What if someone was neglectful and your child was almost killed? That would be hard too, especially because I am so safety conscious. I guess you are probably dealing with this issue right now. Ironically, a few years ago, my mother-in-law was hit in the head by a flying tire while riding on the back of a motorcycle. A guy in the oncoming lane of traffic had inadequetly bolted on a new tire, and it came flying off, shattered her helmet and almost killed her. She is permanantly brain damaged, but functional. I think that if the guy had known the day to day consequences his amature tire changing would have caused our family, he would have done it differently. It was a very stupid, negligent thing to do, but it was an accident. It's hard to say how I'd feel if it had been my child instead of her. If someone intentionally caused harm or death to my child, I'm afraid that might put me over the edge. Sorry to hear about your mother in laws brain injury. This whole thing makes me think more about accidents. Accident 1. An unexpected and undesirable event, especially one resulting in damage or harm: car accidents on icy roads. 2. An unforeseen incident: A series of happy accidents led to his promotion. 3. An instance of involuntary urination or defecation in one's clothing. 4. Lack of intention; chance: ran into an old friend by accident. 5. Logic. A circumstance or attribute that is not essential to the nature of something. I am still not sure that what happened to Nick fits into any category of an accident. I am quite sure you have heard of the saying 'Hate the sin, but love the sinner", that is how I currently feel. I hate the events that lead up to Nick being injured, but not the people...I can't imagine what it must be like to be them.

I know someone whose step son molested the children she had with the father of this perpetrator. He was turned in and the law dealt with him. She has chosen to help her young children through this terrible ordeal but to not carry the burden of his sin. By doing this, does it make the sin less of a burden to this perpetrator?
