I'm Liz, 16. I'm looking to buy a new set of scritptures. Tabbed, with my name on them. Black, genuine leather. however I'm unsure if what size i should get. I'm going for the standard triple combo and standard bible. I'm buying these with my own money so I can appreciate them even more, so although I don't want to say keep the cost low, they do get quite pricy. These scriptures I plan on keeping as mission scriptures-eventually. I'm rrly into writing in the margins and taking sticky notes and posting them in and glueing quotes in. The standard dosen't have a lot of margin space. Any advice?

At, Camp this yr I will be a YCL. I am in charge of teaching the girls -How to clean water, find safe water and purify water, -How to keep the environment clean, safe. What we can do to improve the enviorment. I am teaching 3rd years who are ages 13/14. 8th grade-freshman yr. Any ideas on how i can teach this creatively ? The camp manual says- " Learn one way to help preserve and protect the environment in your area. Use what you learn to make an improvement in your area." The other says "Learn what you would do if the water in your camp was unsafe to drink. Describe how you would make it safe. If there is a stream, lake, or ocean near your camp site survey the area and report any sources of pollution. Where possible, correct these problems. " My camp has cabins, a lake with sea weed and lots of trials. Any ideas ? I want it to be creative and memorable.

I know I'm late on this but... what if this 12 yr old simple wanted a younger brother to play with! At 15 i love watching and playing barbies with the 4 and 5 yr old girls in my ward !

So a friend said.... "Jesus won't come until his name is preached to all corners of the earth rt/ ....why? If he can just save them after tehy die, then why bother having us spread it all around??" and i got to thinking about it..... So whats your view on this ?

So a NON-LDS friend who is Christian and me are starting a bible study club and prayer group for next year ! I am so excited at this- we already have multiple people in on it and the school administration has agreed. What topics could we study in the Bible that would be interesting for us as teens ? What topics can provide good discussions. There will be multiple Christian sects including Me and maybe an LDS friend. Any ideas on topic ? I don't want this to be a LDS-bible thing and were not starting it to convert anyone. Just discuss and pray togather. Any ideas ??

Garmets ARE sacred. Only members of the church who are endowed (which is basically all worthy married members or missionaries) wear them. As a LDS teen, i hear snippets but basically Garments are worn to remind ppl about there promises they made in the temple and to protect them. It really is not discussed lightly b/c there so sacred. Try asking the missionaries-they could help.

a person in my ward has a special diet and she gets special bread blessed just for her. However she sits in diffrent spots every sunday..She really should make an effort to sit up front in the same spot everyweek.

So I got my patrichacal blessing on May 16 and I still have not recieved a copy in the mail. Should i call him and inquire or wait ? I can;t wait...im full of anticipation to highlight the heck out of it.

Seminary is nothing but a blessing in my life. It's a time to pray with friends just like me. do you have any idea what its like to go to a school were no only are there so few LDS members but also a school were going around the corner to people making out, talking vulgar ect. My life goes better when i go to seminary. I know it. Seminary has know ended but I'm trying to get a summernary going :)
