How many of you observe the "five second" rule? If you drop food, like maybe a cookie and it lands on a normal floor, if you pick it up within 5 seconds and blow it off, is it still good to eat? I say yes.

Shake the sheets?? What, and wake the bed bugs up? And the family of earwigs under the bed? Someone mentioned pajama's and an iron. What's an iron? I don't think they sell those in Ga. :|

May I ask a question? When my son left for his mission we were able to get about half of the 10k up which we put in a bank account and snail mailed his Bishop $400 every month. When that runs out if for some reason we aren't able to make the whole payment what happens? He was told that the Stake or Ward had funds to help. If the entire 10k is not paid and his mission ends will he/us owe the balance? If so, to who?

Tried that. Didn't work. It would take a 12 man crew about a week working 10 hr shifts to do the job. If there was a way to protect the rest of the house I would ask one of my old Marine buddies to tunnel in and strategically set up several pounds of C4 and just blast that corner of the house away and then rebuild but that idea didn't work out either. Any other suggestions?

Jesus is the Truth, and the Life. I don't understand why so many people try to make it all so confusing. It is my personal belief that Satan does all he can to confuse us. If he can bring that tiny bit of doubt into our hearts and minds it makes him so happy and we all know why. I choose to stand on the solid rock which is Jesus Christ refusing to budge. Yes, I am a simple man with a simple mind. I continue to go to Jesus as a 5 yr old little boy tugging at His robe asking Him to take me in His loving arms and hold me tight, and He does. He is my truth, my protection from this confusing world. I also don't understand why so many people choose to keep the "us and them" mentality. If a person feels a certain belief is wrong do they honestly think it is Heavenly Fathers wish to push them away by discouraging words? If they are truly wrong then maybe they are lost. I believe we are to still love them and to pray for them and say encouraging words showing this love. This forum says it's for all to discuss and share but I get this feeling much too often that I am part of the "them" crowd. Even still, I choose to love everyone here and refuse to let those feelings I get sometimes run me away. I feel Heavenly Father has me here for a reason. To share His love to all if for no other reason so that is what I will do. Sorry for going so far off topic.

I'm a very simple man. I don't understand some of these big words. I do know that God is love and remember as a child being told by my grandma that Jesus says to love God with all my heart, mind and soul and to love others as I love myself. I also have learned that when a person is refered to by others as anything besides thier name it automatically changes them from a living breathing person, to a thing. Mormon. Baptist. Methodist. When I'm asked what I am I always say, "I'm Craig". I love Jesus and I love every single one of you and no fancy words or the show of how much knowledge of scripture any of you have is going to change that love I have for you. I think Jesus made a really good point when faced with this type situation when he said, "show me the fruits". :)
