I was into that stuff for I guess about 10 years. I say guess becuase I have forgotten. The cleansing power of the Spirit is very real.

It saves hard drive space! lolol I can see this thread ending soon.:)

With God all things are possible comes to mind. This reminds me of the abilty we have to forgive and 100% forget.

I find it hard to compare us to Jesus in some respects, when his father was not human.
-
You did, it just wasn't serious.:)

In that talk there where it says, "We counsel you, young men, not to pollute your minds with such degrading matter, for the mind through which this filth passes is never the same afterwards.", I have a hard time agreeing with. The part that says never be the same afterwords sounds highly exagerated. Should finish a statement like that with "unless repented of".

The following information is in the Book of Mormon. Compare it to Mormon doctrine and see the differences. It is obvious that Mormonism grew and was pasted together as it developed. It is not internally consistent and it is self-contradictory. BOOK OF MORMON There is only one God* The Trinity is one God God is unchanging God is spirit Eternal hell Polygamy condemned MORMON DOCTRINE Mormonism teaches there are many gods.* The Trinity is three separate gods. God is increasing in knowledge.* God has the form of a man.* Hell is not eternal. Polygamy was taught and practiced. A user on utube sent me this exact same garbage as well as a lot of other nonsensical stuff trying to convert me over to the dark side. I looked up the first 2 and could see right away that it was simply takin out of context, so instead of showing him via texting which would have takin a lot of time (i'm a 1 finger typer :) I asked him to voice chat with me on whatever. He said sure and continued saying I was in for a big eye opening surprise. Couple days later he stopped texting me.

Satan is the cause of a huge amount of sin in this world. Also the fact that the memories of any prior existance not being readily available, would also be a factor.

If there are no legal issues and you want him out then he is trespassing. Get some friends over to help you when you tell him to leave. I don't think the police will help you much before you tell him to get out.

You might ask why did Eve choose to disobey.
-
There would be less accountability being raised in a questionable envirnment. Maybe a singe parent or abuse.
-
Need another example seeing how Satan knows fully God exists rather then a belief.:)
-
Too many unknown's here, a huge one being how was or is his family life.
-
Reminds me of how some things are just too simple to see.:)
-
I would guess the reason we have not heard much about this stuff is because its too easy of a decision to make on our own.
-
Considering how lieing is so prevailent in the world today especially when a debate starts getting heated, I find them mostly a waste of time. Not that I've seen any of that in this thread mind you.:)

It's always better, if possible to handle our problems on our own with God's help of course. I'm thinking that is one reason why your bishop is just not automaticaly proceeding with a court or whatever. He's probably sensing through the Spirit you are more capable or stroger then you think.

I agree, its all about feelings. I know of no other place that truly offers the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. The best feelings I have ever felt come by this Spirit.

Wow! Got somebody going.:)

My mother was raised a strict catholic and it is largly because of her that I had and have a belief in God. I knew her to do no wrong. So I somewhat have a bond with the catholic faith. I agree with Justice when he says you are exceptional considering you are catholic.:) I have been acquainted with some very good people who are catholic. An exception would have been my step grandmother who actually punched me when she found out I joined the lds church.:) You and other fine catholic people remind me of how it didn't matter what truths I spoke to my mother about, she would not let go of anything concerning her religion. A funny little story...When I was born my mother felt no pain and said that I would be a priest. Little did she realise it would in the lds church.:)

You were right Justice, its getting deep now. :)

I tend to think that the husband and wife should preside together equally. Perhaps a decision might need to be made where they both don't agree but that should be very rare.

I could say I believe I can cause a miracle to happen if I follow instructions.
