I think Joseph Smith could do what he did now just like he did back then. If the Lord is working through you anything can happen. Our religious freedom is being taken from us. there taking everything religious away from us.

yeah I got the beta, its really fun. well worth it.

i became inactive in 05 and last sunday was my first time back. Im not too sure what caused me to go back but one of the reasons is my home teacher, he started coming over and the second time he said he would like to invite me back to church. a couple days later it hit me and that sunday i woke up got dressed and went in.

how did i find going back to church? It was great, best thing i have ever done.

Welcome. Ive been here for just a few days and i can tell you that all the people i have talked to are really nice.

I dont think theres enough books out there. I love reading and going through my branches library and reading everything they have. so more would be better in my opinion and everything ive read so far has been really good

thanks. I have all of chalres dickens and edgar allen poes stuff read em all loved them but i dont have any mr james, ill check into it. I dont personally see that they fail if they write about blood and gore. to me its just another genra out there. but thats just my opinion though

I dont know if this has been asked before but anyways. When you join the church you get the aeronic priesthood. how long does it take to get the malechezdic priesthood? let me further explain, I heard somewhere it takes 1 year. Now if that is true, is it one year of active membership? because I first joined the church in may 05 I was there for a while and I dont remember if i was there for a year. today was my first day back. so if anyone can help out I would appreciate it. I was going to ask at church but I forgot. Thanks

I know your point, I just grew up reading them and not all of them are all like that. It's just the kind of books I like reading. I also read other stuff too.

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any horror writers that are LDS? If so, author and title would be great. I love reading books and always look for new authors. and since I've been out for a while, any good books that I can get to help learn more about the church (history, doctrines, etc...) would be very helpfull. thanks

I havent been to church since 2005 and tomorrow is going to be my first time back. Ive sinned alot and felt I lost everything. A week ago I as I was moving my books around I found my book of mormon and picked it up, It still had the page marked from where I left off, so I started reading and it felt like the spirit was coming back. So I decided tomorrow I am going to go back and hopefully everything turns out the way I hope it is supposed to (not sure what this last statement means) but anyways...It just feels right. So my advice is to start reading either where you last remember or just from the beginning of the book. It helped me start gaining the spirit back.
